Hi Peter, Billie, Michael, Rodge and everyone else who may be reading
this! I've been having a problem with getting disconnected (and
sometimes connected) lately - but I finally got all the YL bulletins read!
I hope June will be a better month for you Peter! Good on the radio
activities , Michael!
This was a beautiful day - after weeks of rain. There have been lots ofa
complaints - especially by the farmers - asparagus grpwers. ooops growers
-cherry orchardists - hay farmers are especially unhappy. My garden
looks like a jungle although our son fianlly came and mowed the lawn
after 3 weeks. It was getting lonnng. I finally got the flfowers
that I bought two weeks ago planted in the planters in front of the
house. I'm not a cool weather gardner. The swiss Chard and Kale I
planted 3 or 4 weeks ago is up about an inch. Peter, I don't have a
green thumb.
This afternoon we attended a piano recital - our great grandson Remy who
will be 7 in a couple of weeks has been taking lessons this spring and
really did quite well compared with the others, mostly beginners also.
And then we were invited to their house for a barbeque. Fun to do
something different from visiting doctors, sitting in waiting rooms, etc.
When I got Bob's old XP - which is working fairly well for packet - I
lost my arecipe program. We found a new one - the Recipe Manager - but I
haven't managed to make it work. (sigh).
This was the weekend of the big Hamvention in Oregon but Bob wasn't up to
going this year and it seems like I've got too much going on to get on
the radio.
Guess this is my report for this time. Please excuse the typos.
Everyone take care.
Best wishes for a happy June.
Sara, AB7PS
PS - Peter, I liked your doggie story!
