Hello Everyone, ...all YL @WW participants, readers and those
getting it somehow ... and maybe can not reply.
What a month MAY 2010 has been .... The effects have and will
be felt in this month and onwards.
Only good thing in MAY 2010...was Maria coming home from BRASIL.
Bad part, was as all know I as in Hospital in March 2010
< Beware Ides of MARCH..flashing in my head > and Maria rushed
home cutting her vacation with family...to be with me.
No need to go here...as most know right after I was ok..on
the road to recovery...Maria had to fly back to BRASIL
on family business of importance...and that was fun too.
So she got to resume for a bit her holiday...then back
here the first eek in MAY. That was a highlight
and oh boy..talk about Jet lag...
Now while Maria was away, and knew of this event, I was
tryuing to help and mutual friend of ours to get her
brother outta jail. I was going to be allowing myself
to post bail for him. This man I never met, and only
knew via his family had since 1979 a string of incidents
and the total was about 30...yep 30. Despite my
shop steard training cutting in ...and I got the Crown
Procescutor mad at me...via his comments, I was commended
by the Judge...but bail denied. Later I found out the
lawyer stopped objecting cuz I was really taking this
Crown Lawyer to task ...He was loosing on his points.
Not to be done in ... I met the complaint's mother and
well there was a story there, and one morning I spent
more time in the Court house, with the complaint and
guess what...charges dropped, and he was freed.
Everyone happy, and I got to meet him, and satisfied
myself of his problem and all these incidents were
pleaded quity to get outta Jail.... Innocent or not.
As I used to represent employees with the Boss, I
was rather angry that he pleaded quity to them..but
he did admit he was quilty to a few of them which
we never went into.
Some of you might remember my "3 days in May" where
we were cleaning up the property here. The man
I helped offer to do it....and boy did he ever do
a smashing job, as some pics will reveal on the
URL some have seen and commented. My day "1"
and "2" were my bad ones, just about needing
pro medical help. The "3" day well in ended
at noon....we all just relaxed.
In this month too .... bad news from home in England
as my cousin who retired from the Roayl Navy and
who had sailed with me, and was a shipmate in the
process and we grew closer as a family....took sick
< he looked bad on skype > and passed away.
THAT coupled with my cousin in the USA ...well it
was a blow to me. I am still tring to make
sense of it all. Thanks to all my friends
here too that sent messages to me and family
they were well received.
For the last few week of MAY....and HOT out side
no rain.... well I have been relaxing, as I really
need it.
The Garden ...mmm...well the pictures on the URL
show nothing has been done...but a lot of burning
and not right now in this heat... puff puff.... :)
I guess for 2010..the Garden is out.
Rusty...as a few have enquired is doing ok .... legs
are a bit on the wobble side but he is up and out
when he can. Even to chase a cat...if you can
wonder if he is running or not....even with the
fur on end...he still looks impressive.
He is puffing...and his quarters have a nice bedding
and the only fan going 24/7 to keep him cooool.
A "BARK" of course bring the butler....thats me !
So we drift into JUNE 2010... and I sure hope
this month is better then the last ones...
