Hello, Peter, and anyone else who might be reading along,
It was good to get such a quick response to my posting.
We were so sorry to hear that your two cousins had passed
away. It always seems especially sad and difficult for
those left behind when it happens suddenly. And, for
the husband in Indiana with all of his other problems, the
loss must be overwhelming.
K.O. and I have very few close relatives left. I have only
one first cousin, lady, and her husband. She has many health
problems--not life threatening, but incapacitating. But, I
keep close tabs on her and am holding on tight! They live
on the Gulf Coast of Texas, about 600 miles from us. We meet
in the town of Mountain View, Arkansas about four or five
times a year for a short visit. We tell everyone we meet them
half way, but it is only 115 miles for us. Mountain View is
an interesting little town. The motel where we meet has suites
that are very comfortable and unique. Each unit is named and
decorated accordingly. So, no two look alike.
I'm glad you shared with all of us about your cousins. It does
help to know there are others out there who care.
I hope the coming weeks have happy days for you and Maria and all
of our other YL (an OM) folks out there.
73, Billie
