Greetings, Peter, Sara, Michael and anyone else reading along,
It appears that I'm not too dependable when it comes to making
regular postings. But, I'm pleased to see as much packet
activity as there is. And, Peter, things seem to be picking up
in the OM category. I check over there to see how you guys are
doing!
Sara, I didn't see your first two postings for some reason,
but I was glad I got to read them as part of Peter's replies.
I did get your "Packet alive!" message.
And, Sara, I'm sorry you weren't able to get full use of your
elbow, but I had the same results with both of my shoulders,
so I understand. With use over time, my range of motion has
increased, however. Maybe that will happen for you, also.
My goodness! Bob has certainly been having his trials, too.
Time spent in doctors' offices, waiting rooms, and hospitals
is always stressful under the best of circumstances. I hope
for both of you the days ahead are much brighter.
Peter, I'm glad you and Rusty both made it ghrough the winter.
You did have folks worried, though. I read in an OM message
that Maria is home now. Glad your housekeeping passed
inspection. I'm sure everything will be happier for you,
Maria, and Rusty now.
Michael, sorry to read that you haven't been too well either.
Hope that situation is improving for you by now.
K.O. and I have really been blessed with good health the last
couple of years. I am most thankful for that. Of course,
being in the senior citizen category keeps us from moving
as swiftly as we once did, but well enough.
All three of you mentioned plants that are blooming now.
I don't have a "green thumb" and have trouble getting much
of anything to grow, but I do have some roses and baby
carnations blooming now. And, there are some blooms on
an English dogwood that my daughter-in-law from Texas
planted for me from a cutting she brought from her house.
We moved to Missouri in the central USA from the Gulf
Coast of Texas. I don't miss the hot humid weather,
mosquitoes, and hurricanes, but I do miss the abundance
and variety of flowers that bloom in that area in the
spring. We have some pretty flowering trees and plants
here, but not nearly so many.
We took a short trip into northern Arkansas, the state
just south of us, last weekend. Along the way we saw
literally fields of yellow buttercups--the ground was
solid yellow. I had never seen that before and was
really impressed. There are other wild flowers blooming
along the highways now, also.
My! When I get started, I just go on and on.
