Hello to all -
April - well, I'm still plugging along. I finished a month of PT on my
arm - they decided they had done all they could for me. But the surgeon
was pleased and I can do about anything I want except reach the back of
my neck or pat my left shoulder. (it was the left elbow I shatteed).
My OM Bob continued with Chemo and ended up with an infection? and
cellulitis so his legs swelled to 3x normal. I've spent a lot of time in
doctors' waiting rooms. But the swelling was going down - and then 2
weeks ago he tripped on an early morning trip to the bathroom and knocked
himself out - and ended up in the ER. So he spent most of 3 days in the
hospital while they did tests to decide why he fell. (I think he tripped
on a rug! - no more rugs.) But they also monitored his legs and I think
the hospital stay helped. So right now he is doing fairly well. They
said he shouldn't drive for two weeks so we have neen begging rides.
Meanqwhile the jungle has crept into the garden - april was cool. I
finally got out a couple of days this week but only made a small dent in
the weeks. Dug up a few plants for a plant sale on Sunday. The tulips
have been beautiful but not much else. But the rhodies are about to
burst into bloom.
OK- April was a stay at home month - think May will be also.
