Thank you for reading this plea for understanding what may be happening
with my YAPP data (using Packet 6.1) transfer protocol on my Kantronics
   KPC-II tnc.

Yapp down load starts normally, but after a few bytes into the data
transfer, I get an "UNKNOWN PACKET TYPE" (inc a number 43 or some other
number) and then the data transfer is aborted.

My perimeters have been set to that of a colleague, who has never had
experience of any problems in YAPP data transfer from either a BBS or
from another ham. I have not discounted that TNC being at fault, with
   the World chip being suspect.

The problem IS my end, and any ideas or pointers towards resolving
   this problem would be appreciated.
