Hi all.
I have a pk12 tnc,and an amiga computer.
Normally all my mail is read either by term v4.4,or amicom v2.1a.
Recently i have been unsuccesfully trying to send yapp using the latest
version of amipak.(Not amicom as above.)
The tnc has been set up correctly, with a resticted throughput buffer activated
by typing "ubit 14 on".
This command only allows 7 data bits to be floating between the tnc and the
computer at any one time (as far as i can remember).
The problem is,when i am uploading a file using yapp,to the local bbs,the
tnc has a tendancy to get stuck in a loop ... no new data being sent, just
the last frame. Also the progress scale on the screen indicates that the data
transfer has been stopped!!

Is the problem in the tnc or the software or the bbs???

I have confirmed with other stations that the local bbs gives exellant yapp
service.

I think that the pk12 tnc, somehow losses track of what it is doing,e.g:it
forgets if it is retrying a frame,or if it is sending the next frame on
the list.

Thanks for any help!!!

Have you read my other message?? On 7 plus transfer??

All replies will be acknowledged.

STEVE
