Hi All,
Sorry to send a bulletin about a radio topic :-))

I have a brand new Yaesu VX-7R, I have made up an interface board so that
I can load the memories direct from the computer. Doing it by hand would
consume several lifetimes I suspect.

My home built interface works fine as determined by a software, interface
checker, I downloaded from the net.

However any attempt to upload or download data merely results in a CLONE
ERROR message on the radio.

I am using the latest version of the freebie "commander" software to talk
to the interface.

On the radio itself I am using the CT91 cable and utilising the 2.5mm jack
for the data. (on the ring of the plug.)

Can any one help with this problem or at least point me to a site where I
might find the data format, transmission speed and so on, so that I can
write a small bit of software to monitor the data flow between the
interface and the radio.

                                  Regards Tony VK3API
