Can't keep out of this one! I agree 100% with Pete. I have Yaesu, Kenwood,
and Icom rigs here. The Icom cost me $A3500 and has had to be posted away
twice for repairs, the first time under warranty and the second time at my
expense ($A50 postage each way). The Yaesu rigs I have had have posed no
problems whatsoever except for a minor one with an FT 780R - easily fixed
by me. The Kenwood TS430S has had a couple of breakdowns which were fixed
locally; the Kenwood TR751 has not had any problems either..
