I think, Andy - You are referring to TIME DOMAIN ROUTING.

An interesting topic, and something which Bryan G0SYR explained to me
in great detail a few Month's ago in Coventry, but I seem to be lacking most 
of the important information(!).

At it's simplest, X-Router overrides the QUALITY Routes and bases it's 
routing using the shortest route to that station.


Somebody can surely explain this in more detail, or perhaps Andy would like 
to continue reading that (large) manual  ;-))
