Well Lionel, the benefits are mainly for others, they will be able to use
your full-blown NODE.

As others have said, BPQ is showing it's age and XRouter is a worthy
enhancment and improvement to BPQ.

As to the benefits to you, you will not need AGW, you will have a whole
host of tcpip facilities, you will know the distances, RTT etc to other
users and nodes, the list is quite large. It's all in the first few pages
of the XRouter manual.

When time permits, I hope to get XRouter up and running here, firstly on
a seperate machine that will let the locals use INTERNET LINKING when the
RF paths fail ( which seems to be happening more and more ).
I hope that it isn't too good or I'll be left with nothing to do :-))
