Hi all

For those who are interested i have just uploaded Xarpm V0.1.2

New users visit xarpm web site and download full package.

Existing users can use the xarpm`s built-in online upgrade.

Xarpm is a Linux based mail/news client designed to connect to
a bbs (FBB etc).It uses IP as a means of data transfer.

Several requests have come in for ax25 connectivity and although
Xarpm is IP based, you can configure xarpm to connect to your own
node at IP level and then connect out using the nodes ax25/netrom features.

G1IXV, Colin uses this method and informs me it runs very successfully.

Xarpm has a file called node.cfg to handle the node connection commands.
This file isread during an IP connection to your node and information read
from this file is passed onto your node (EG C 1 GB7YFS).
Node.cfg also contains the callsign & passwords for node login.

EG.
XARPM <--> IP <--> Linux Node <--> AX25/NETROM <--> GB7YFS

My time spent on Xarpm is very limited due to work. So please be patient.
A year and a bit ago Xarpm was just a name Stewart (g0lgs) and I came up with
and here we are with yet another release.

Special thanks to Colin G1IXV, Trev M1CUK & Graham G6YFF for help and beta
testing the latest binaries.
