Hi All,
It appears the last news bulleting has hit the black hole, so repeated
herewith.
NOAA acknowledges the concerns raised by the user community re APT signals
on NOAA 15. They are evaluating the problems with the APT antenna, which
appears not to be deployed correctly.
Solar array was rotated to +55 degrees to thermally stimulatethe Antenna
boom hinge, without affect.
They remind users that the first 60 days is for evaluation and activation
and are working on the problem.
No problems with HRPT visible and some excellent pictures have been
received by members to date.
