Hello Harry and readers,

The FCC allows but does not require an ID to me made in the mode in use
so we don't have to bother with any special packet requirements. Since
every frame contains the callsign you may say that every transmission
identifies the station.

This is a practical approach to say the least and frankly can't see why
the RA requires a CWID unless they're too cheap to go out and buy a TNC
and laptop. Hey, when you're rag chewing with SSB do they make you say
"Please stand by while I identify." and reach for the key? (;->)

Something tells me you guys in the UK need to do some housecleaning, get
the bats out of the belfrey and the buzzards off the bench, seriously.

Oh, now don't tell us they'll raise a fuss over WLAN because they're to
antiquated to check your transmissions using modern technology (;->)

No guys, I'm not poking fun at you' only your government burocracy and we
all do that anyway, now don't we?

Uh oh, here comes another one, I got flamed for that a couple of weeks
ago. Well, pip pip and cheerio!
