Hi Mark and readers,
FB on the rabbit! (;->) I must have misunderstood, I thought you were
using an Internet (telnet) link in there someplace when it's really an
Ethernet LAN. That wire is short, you're excused. (;->)
I have a friend with similar laptop wireless problems, without getting
too technical some things don't want to work in the normal manner and
most of it has to use a strangely configured proxy. That's the trouble
when you have a "bits and pieces" network and try to connect the mess to
the Internet with an ADSL modem/router. Oh, just to make it interesting
the connection hiccups once in a while so he has to reboot the router and
tell me his new IP so I can connect with him. Yeah, we do some strange
things over the Internet, things the land line lids never dreamed of.
Now once again before some stupid calls ME a LLL, my wires aren't crossed
up with my radio. (;->)
