Hi ALL WINTNC users.
I find that WINTNC is the only program that will work on my system
(WIN95-486 motherboard-BAYCOM) The program works well but the instructions
  (HELP) are rather user-unfriendly.
Here in South Africa we have to have a seperate licence (ZS0) to operate a
BBS and so I only want to be able to contact my local BBS and do NOT want
to act as a NODE etc. SO:
  1. How do I disable the ID that keeps on coming up for NODE?
  2. I know how to TAG a HEADER - but how do I then get it to download that
message and where does it then go?
  3. If I download a message- using for instance R 102456 and then decide I
want to save that message,is there any way I can do so or must I download
it again and use F1 to save it?
  4. If I have EDITED a message under DIRECTORY BROWSER How do I then SAVE it,
I can find no reference to this. Also with the NOTE PAD How do I SAVE
what
     I have written?
  5. Could those of us who use WINTNC perhaps get together and pool our
knowledge to produce an IDIOT level (for people like me) .DOC that is
user
friendly. I would be only to happy to act as a clearing house for such
     a project

I know that someone will come back with the comment that I should read the
manual. I have !! it's still as clear as mud to me. I would like to
apply the KISS (Keep IT Simple Stupid) principle to this project so that
we
can all enjoy this otherwise very good program.
