The MS Beta operating system 7 has a great deal of security lockouts,
for programs it does not like such as the installation of Winpac 6.8
So after many failed tries at running the Winpack install progmam.exe, I
copied a working Winpack to a flash drive stick and dragged and dropped it
onto the C: of 7
Of course because it was not installed some DLL's etc were missing, so I
put the install .exe file on the flash stick and with 7 Explorer, clicked
on the .exe file and was surprised that it ran. Also that I could put it
over the top of the dropped on c:\Winpac.
Surprised too that I had fooled the Microsoft security system of 7 and
all appears well.
