Hi Ray,
Thanks for your test. It is a problem limited to Winpack as you couldn't
make it happen with the other terminal software.
So just what BBS Prompt setting do you use in your Winpack?
A bit more than a single chevron, I hope?
Your messages quotes include lots of single chevrons, so the BBS Prompt
needs to be different so Winpack doesn't assume the message is complete
the first time it sees one.
I read up the BBSPRMT.TXT file in Winpack and have updated my BBS Prompt
(text string only from the unique prompt ZL1AB sends), cut out a chevron
from the end and toggled the OM setting to OFF (saves duplication of
listing new P type mail by the BBS since Winpack always does LN).
Sp I've learned a new thing or two from the discussion.
