Thank you to all who have replied and all agree compressed won't work
with Telnet Winpack. Also instructions for a dot before $MYCALL as
.$MYCALL does not work. Re the Winsock failures that seems to be mostly
my fault as missing the | in the context of the script file.
Now for another query:
My telnet use is now about 99% ok BUT some bulletins although coming in on
the screen fully, are not saved in full. When one hits the bull icon, one
can only read the title.
This is confirmed when I use explorer and find the bulletin file under
the winpack directory of bulls and number number. Yes incomplete!
So I wonder does anyone else experience this problem with Telnet.
