Hi Neil and all,

Oh, I forgot I'm not the only old fart around here and it looks like my
nemesis in VK6 Land started an avalanche... oh well. (;->) Alright, never
mind Atari, they came along after I started assembling my beasties from
junk box parts but I digress.

Yup, back to the future and Win 7 but it seems your blame is a bit
misplaced. Since Windows Live Mail doesn't put an icon on the desktop
there are two distinct possibilities, either the function isn't included
in the installer or more likely you overlooked the check box when you
installed it. Now what does that have to do with the operating system?
Nothing, that's not its function but thanks for the opportunity to flex
my sarcasm muscles. (;->)

Sorry OM but there are still a few around trying to get used to Win 7
that marches do a different drum. Thanks Microsoft, you broke from the
pack and actually produced something new not following in the tracks of
your previous systems and software.
