Hi Bob and all,
Since your infections came from internet sites (Who would have guessed?)
rather than e-mail may I suugest Malwarebytes? While the others may scan
your drives and filter downloads this one alerts you to infected IPs,
gives you the IP address and blocks it until and unless manually
overridden. Oh yeah, it can be a PITA at times with false positives but
better safe than sorry, I only allow one I know of for sure.
Then there is the proceed with caution approach, when in doubt don't.
It's like a public swimming pool, careful where you walk, athlete's foot
won't make you run any faster unless it's to the pharmacy.
