Why would you want to? Back-ups are made to restore to the
original situation, are they not? I DO have MSBACKUP in XP-Home.

I use Pro and Home on two network connected machines sharing files
and programs between them: never a problem of this sort.
There IS MSBACKUP in Home! And it will even back-up the Pro Machine
over the network link.

It SEEMS to me that on a similar machine Pro is a bit more
stable.
