Assuming your local telephone equipment works on 50v DC...
There are always lots of scrap telecomms SWPS's in specialist electronics
scrap dealers, they are very cheap and nothing but the very best quality. All
you need do is change the divider network proving feedback to the power supply
and you can set them to output what ever voltage you like, proving it is less
than the designed for 50v. My shack supply is a 50amp version, adjusted down
to 13.8v - just two resistors to change usually, to set the voltage.
