Personally I'd probably look in a junkbox for a BF981 which might or might
not be able to be persuaded to fit the PCB. It is designed for RF stages
and has excellent performance. Often found in TV front-ends, so a junked TV
might be a source?

Alas the BF981 was discontinued a few years ago, but there is a surface
mount "equivalent" but the part number eludes my feeble memory. Perhaps a
careful look at a Philips data book might find it? And hopefully you might
be able to carefully solder it to the pads the 40673 occupied.

73, David ZL3AI.
