Thanks for reading this request for help.

I need a LS7031 8/6 Decade Up Counter With 8 Decade Latch for my Digimax Model
D612 frequency counter. There does not appear to be stockist of this item in
New Zealand, and I see they appear only to be available from overseas in large
quantities from bulk suppliers. Are there any retailers for this chip who are
prepared to sell as a single item?

It appears that Digimax no longer exist, at least I didn't find them on the
'net. The Digimax D612 was sold here in 1981, and their address was
Digimax Instruments Corp. 5625 Kearny Villa Rd. San Diego California 92123
741-569-6582, but that was current in 1980 odd.

An alternative is that I have a digital multi-meter with a 10 MHz counter in
it. Is there a prescaler that would get this up to 144 MHz? Probably 200 MHz
with a divide by 20? The problem is, that it's only got a 4 digit display.
