Hi All
Thank you for reading this.
I have the centre section of a vertical antenna but cannot identify it.
I am very keen to find out more about it.
Please help if you can.
It is end-fed (has S0 PL259 type female).
Has (from the top), a metal bush with two grub screws in it.
The hole in this bush is 9mm dia. and the outside dia 14mm.
Then comes a black Bakelite / Plastic insulation type material which
tapers outwards / downwards.
The narrow end is 19mm, and the wide end 32mm.
Then joined to this, is a type of metal "hub" / "collar", that supports
three radials.
This section is 50mm in dia.
The radial three holes are 6mm in dia.
Below that, is a bush that will slip over the support pipe.
The bush is 29mm od and inside this bush sits the PL259 connecting female
The writing on the label is adhered to the side of this hub.
The writing reads ...
?SUS-285D
Araki Antenna
Ideally, I would like to know....
1) What frequency is this antenna designed for ?
2) What is the dia and length of the centre radiator ?
3) What is the dia and length of the radials ?
4) Does Araki have a website ?
Many thanks
