Hi Jeff
Have another read of my SB. I was referring to a number of items that I have
gleaned ( Learned ) recently from the Web separated by a comma..such as a , !

name John Robson Walby, (at Strangeways Prison Manchester) > become the last
to be hanged. The executions taking place simultaneously at > 8.00 a.m.

Copied from a 'Net page just now. James Hanratty was NOT the last man hanged
in the UK.
Peter Anthony Allen and his partner John Robson Walby were the last.
Type into " Google " (Last man hanged) in the UK and up comes many pages to
look at/read on the subject. The first page in Google gives a list from over
200 years ago.
There is also a very interesting article about Ruth Ellis the last woman
hanged in the UK.
Sorry that it was not James Hanratty or even Derek Bentley ( the man who it is
alleged called " Shoot " the policeman to his under-age fellow burglar).
