Hello dear lowfers,
and thank you for reading this message.
After some unsuccesful approach to the 136 kHz band I'm again sharpening
the nails. . in the mean time I started to listen on the higher portion of
LW in order to evaluate the RX systen using the NDBs as reference. Of
course they are allocated on frequencies 2-3 times higher than our band but
they can give some indications of the propagation on LW (they should be low
power devices with limited high antennas).
Up to now I listened more than 150 NDBs (a lot of course from Italy) and
some of those look very interesting because they are far from my QTH
(JN35UB). Unfortunately most part of these stations are not identified (I
have a list of the italian NDB and few more) and I wonder if someone of you
has similar list for the european/mediterranean area.
I would be even glad to know web sites where these informations could be
available.
I will appreciated all suggestions or support you can give me.
