Hello dear fellows,
and thanks for reading this message: I wonder if someone of the LFgang is
able to help me with my trouble...
In short: I'm ready to go on the air (I mad some tests) but my rig has a
terrible habit: armonics suppression is very bad (2 armonic is abt 20 dB
down the fundamental, 3 is abt 40 dB down and so on).
Even if it is not good practice, living in the country this fact could be
not a problem .... unfortunately I'm living in a city condominium and, at
least in my house I can perfectly listen my keyed CW both on LW and MW.
Short wawes, FM TV seems to be not affected from this.
The solution on the theory is quite easy: use a LPF!
It's about a week that I'm struggling looking for a filter with low
passthrough attenuation ... I even tried a notch filter tuned on the second
armonic: this is reduced of abt 14 dB (not enough I mean) and with a second
notch added seems to be reduced a couple of dB more!
Did anyone of you the same trouble and may be a solution?
Thanks for your help
