Hi all,

Early today, i listened on VLF for about an half an hour to hear
what conditions were. Since i have no experience at all and i have
not a very good lacation to listen, i expected not much of it.

However, in contrary to my first listening period i could hear 20
whistlers in 15 minutes time! They were all descending in frequency and
about 1 to 1.5s long. I listened from 4.20 to 4.50 UTC. The K-index was
3 at 03.00 UTC.

Beside whistlers i heard a special sound, like tapping at a long steel wire,
in the cracking noise of the lightning.

If there is anyone who has experiences on VLF please let it know!
