Hello LF friends,
Saturday Nov. 14 th we plan to QSO again on 136 kHz.
In our first experiment we did use a delta kite, now we use a
" Cody " kite. Thise one will go more vertical. We try to get 300 m
or more '
"antenna-wire " in the air ( as we hope, hi ).
The tractive power of a Cody kite is much higher than a delta kite.
The TX power will be 150 Watt , iff the SWR is good.
TX frequency will be 136,5 kHz.
As receive antenna's we an active antenna and a small loop , 70 cm
square. I am testing now a delta loop antenna with legs of 10 m and
6 turns of wire. If it is working good, we will use it.
The place we do the experiment is Usquert, in the very Northern part
of the Netherlands, afew 300 m of the dyke of the Waddensea a
We go to a farmyard with very big farmland ( no tree's ).
Locator JO33hj.
If the weather is NOT good, we must cancel the experiment.
Hope to work you on saturday Nov. 14 th.
