Hi All !
We have read many infos about 137 kHz band. Our ministry of telecomunications
just allowed us to use this band on secondary basis with special licence.
According to this we decided to make first LF club with name Friends of Low
Frequencies (FLF). That means no only 137 kHz but any freq from 30 - 300 kHz
... ( 73kHz in G, ...). Membership is free.
Anyone who interested about this band can be a member.
Also listener can be a member because there are many people who either can't
use this band or have no equipment and place to work there. If you want to
join us and help us or to help yourself with the first contacts just contact
us any way. We are on packet, direct, telephone, internet e-mail.
Internet www site is in progress http://www.flf.sk
We already applied for special call OM9LF and we are ready to launch a beacon.
OM9LF will be a HQ station for this club. This call is number #1 in FLF.
Also bulletin is in progress and first number will be ready soon (22.3.98) .
We would very gladly receive any helping informations, first QSOs and other
interesting stuff.
Our QTH is Stupava about 20km North of Bratislava - Capital of Slovakia
and locator is JN88MG. This is a club station OM3Kii.
