Hi Bob, I totally agree with you. Ignore all offers of "Speedup"
programmes
Kill Before Reading, as we used to say.
I did try Facebook, briefly, then dumped it. Too many links were going to
too many places where I didn't want them.
I got my first spam email in a lot of years. The title, something about
improving my potency, just made me laugh !
I marked the source as spam, then deleted it.
I use the same AV software as you BTW. It seems to work well.
