A good wheeze is to look online at the clubs' programmes. eg the RSGB
produces a list of affiliated clubs with links to each club's website. Have
a look at subjects others are doing. You may be able to get the person
presenting the talk to come and do it at your club. Or you may have someone
in the club who can be persuaded to do that talk for you. Or it might
suggest related subjects that could be done.

The problem as always is pitching the talk so it keeps the attention of
those who work/worked at the sharp end of electronics without being to
involved for those who aren't engineers but enjoy playing radio. That's the
hard bit.
