Hello All

There has been a little response to my query about SSID's.

Being relatively new to APRS I am not sure about the background but I may
ask. Has there been a war ? is it over now ?

What a pity Roger G4IDE didn't put a list of SSID,s in UIVIEW. That is not
a criticism. Everything else is presented in a clear precise manner.
Thus enabling the maximun number of people to set up and use the system
without the need to search out not easily found protocol.

I thank G4APL for passing on the list below. Locally this is what we are
using now.

The UK is a small area, it is amazing to me that we have adopted different
systems of identifier in different regions.

The World is a small place, I want my identifier to be understood
everywhere that the system covers.

Look for me -13 next time I go out Wind and Solar Powered.
