The official announcement of Roger's 'Lifetime Achievement Award' was
announced at the 23rd ARRL & TAPR Digital Communications Conference dinner
on Saturday 11 September.
The award consists of a parchment and a plaque. The wording of the
parchment was released on the Packet network a couple of months ago.
Because of the serious nature of Roger's illness, TAPR made the
announcement early so that Roger was aware of it before he died.

On behalf of TAPR, Darryl Smith, VK2TDS, who is attending the funeral,
will present the award to Dee and the family at their home.
I'm not a member of the RSGB. Can anyone tell me if it is considering
anything similar?
