Hello UHF/SHF freaks,
After last year's very successful DXpedition to Norway (JO37SX), DB1DI this year will be qrv from Southern Mainland (IOTA EU 012 B) of the Shetland
Islands (IO99-square) from 24th of July to 04th of August.
GM/DB1DI/p will be active on 432, 1296, 2320, 3400, 5760 and 10368 MHz with
reasonable equipment on all bands. 2m sideband possibly will also be operated,
but most emphasis will be put on the microwaves, especially on 23, 13 and 3 cm .
At a later date, a phone number will be published via PR, in order to give the
opportunity to contact GM/DB1DI/p directly on the site. Thus, skeds can be
installed on a short term basis, whenever the propagation on microwaves seems
to be appropriate (just let me sleep at least 4 hours at night, it's my
holiday....)
So, put a notice in your calendar; of course sked-proposals via PR in advance
are welcome as well.
