                VECCHIACCHI MEMORIAL DAY CONTEST

Participation - May participate all authorized Radioamateurs  and 
SWL  and  same  station  can participate  to  the  VHF,  UHF  and 
SHF sections.

Dates and times:

VHF section on Dec.4, from 14.00 to 23.00 UTC.
UHF/SHF sections on Dec.5 from 07.00 to 13.00 UTC.
Admitted modes:SSB and CW respecting band plans. Over 10GHz FM is 
admitted.

144 MHZ fixed (1E)
432 MHz fixed (2E)
144 MHz portable (1G)
432 MHz portable (2G)
144 MHz SWL fixed
432 MHz SWL fixed
144 MHz SWL portable
432 MHz SWL portable
1296, 2304, 5700, 10450, 24000, 47000 MHZ fixed (3E)

Reports:

RS(T), progressive, QTH locator, province.

Score:

VHF/UHF 1 point for each QSO/Km. 
SHF 1  point  for  each  QSO/Km  multiplied  for  a  coefficient 
according to the following table:
1 for each bilateral QSO on the 1296 MHZ band

Multipliers:

One  multiplier for each country (ARRL list), province,  mode  on 
first QSO, excluding your own.
Each  country/province  is worth one multiplier  for  each  mode, 
provided  the qso is with different stations. (A call may  appear 
only once for each band).
In  the SHF section countries/provinces connected for  the  first 
time are multipliers, band is unimportant.

Final score:
Final  score is the product between the QRB sum  and  multipliers 
total.

Final score = Total SSB/CW(FM) points X countries/provinces nr.

In  the  SHF section the QRB will be substituted  by  the  points 
obtained using band coefficients.

SWL reports:

The log should show:
Complete  call  of the heard station,  report  sent,  progressive 
number,  WW locator, province, call of the corresponding  station 
and  heard  report.(Are not admitted more than five  heards  with 
same correspondent).
Should be indicated date. time UTC, band. points, multipliers and 
final score.

Logs:
Separate  logs  should be used for each section. In the  SHF  log 
QSO's should be written in chronologic order indicating the  band 
where it happened.

Deadline: 20 days after the contest.

Prizes distribution:

Will  receive  prizes the first 3 classified for  each  category, 
provided  they are ARI members, or members of a  IARU  affiliated 
Ass.
What not preview will be referred to the ARI trophies regulation.
