Nordic Activity Contest

1. Date: 144 MHz, on 1st Tuesday in every month.
(I AM QRV ON 144339.0 +-QRM)
432 MHz, on 2nd Tuesday in every month.
(I AM QRV ON 432237.5 +-QRM)
Microwave, on 3rd Tuesday in every month.
(NOT YET QRV)
50 MHz, on 4th Tuesday in every month.
(I AM QRV ON 50170.0 +-QRM)
2. Time: 18-22 UTC Nov.-Mar. and 17-21 UTC Apr.-Oct.
3. Contacts: All operation in accordance with IARU Region 1
bandplans. Logs must contain contacts with at least
two different locator squares (JO65, JO66,..etc), or
at least three different stations in same locator
square, from the Nordic countries. Any stations
outside the Nordic countries can be worked, and will
also count. No contacts via active repeaters or EME
are allowed.
4. Reports: RS(T) and Locator, e.g. 549 JO55WW. No QSO no. is needed!
5. Scoring: 50 MHz & 144 MHz: 1 point/km + 500 bonus points/loc_wkd.
432 MHz : 1 point/km + 300 bonus points/loc_wkd.
Microwave : 1 point/km * band multiplier + 300 bonus
points/loc_wkd, regardless of band.
Band multipliers: 1,3 GHz *1 10 GHz *4
2,3 GHz *2 24 GHz *5
5,7 GHz *3 etc.
6. Logs: Standard A4, Region 1, with the following columns:
Date/time, Call, RS(T) sent, RS(T) received,
Locator, points, (multiplier/band), and an empty
column (Remarks).
In the microwave section an additional column for
the can being used. Summary sheets is required,
containing:
Own call, name, address, section, own locator,
number of QSOs, number of SQRs and total points.
Please also note the best ODX wkd, station and
locator.
Alternatively, electronic logs (EDI) can be used,
but, shall comply with either the NORDACTI or
REG1TEST formats.
7. Results Logs must be received no later than two weeks after
the contest at the EDR VHF-contest manager:
Bent POULSEN, OZ1EYN, Lupinvej 15, DK-3650 Oelstykke
The log can also be submitted electronically, using
packet radio to the contest manager, in the REG1TEST
formats at: OZ1EYN @ OZ9BUL
After receiving the electronic log OZ1EYN returns a
note saying "thank you for log."
