Spirit Rover Reaches Mars Bonneville Crater

The crater is about 200 meters across and 20 meters deep and appears to
contain the remnants of an ancient temple or structure.  Here is the statue
waiting for us at its rim.

Carl Sagan stated, "Craters have shapes.  Some are perfectly bowl-shaped;
others are flat, shallow, gently sloped. The shape of the crater does not
much depend on the velocity of the impacting object, provided it hits the
ground hard enough the result is the same as detonating a large explosion
at the point of impact. The crater shape does depend on how soft the
surface is, and on fragility of the infalling material." Page 262. Comet by
Carl Sagan.

I speculate that an ancient structure or temple was hit by the exploding
object such as asteroid. You can compare the ejecta from this explosion
with all other rover missions, and Spirit is taking images of see carved
rocks with symbols, faces, curved and smooth unnatural features. While in
the Air Force, one of my jobs was to access the effectiveness of bombing in
Vietnam. We had a similar situation where structures were destroyed by
large explosions. Essentially, we are looking at rubble from this explosion
at Bonneville, the nickname infers a pleasant place, before it was
destroyed.

Statues, major buildings and the like would have been thrown into the air
for hundreds of meters leaving little to identify. I asked my 5th grade
grand-daughter to take some photos to class. The student scientists
reported seeing E,Y,G symbols and several faces. Parts of statues, busts
and columns are identifiable in my opinion.

Observation is the key to discovery in science. Certain shapes such as
triangles do not occur in planetary surface geology. Yet we are collecting
many examples of triangles and pyramids. Many civilizations erect statues
to their leaders and gods. We know that nature can make various symbols and
faces by accident but seldom do you see more than one or two in a whole
quarry. Consequently, one face or one letter is not proof, but if dozens of
faces and symbols are found, we can declare that life once existed at the
place we have nicknamed "Gavesak".

JPL informs me that the best cameras on the Rover have a resolution of 1024
x 1024 pixel images. There isn't any excuse for using a 1 megapixel sensor
when 3 megapixel cameras were available at Walmart for a few hundred
dollars. Right now there are 5 and 6 megapixel point and shoot cameras
there. NASA technology is touted to be decades AHEAD of the consumer
market, but in photo imaging it is decades BEHIND. They even shoot in
color.

This European Space Agency Image sent by Bob Bryant shows a temple like
structure with an underground entrance. Structure at top left is similar to
Mayan Pyramid at Uxmal,

In my opinion Mars has life today. The evidence sent back from Mars by two
Viking Landers in 1976 and 1977 was not clearcut. In fact, NASA's first
press release about the Viking tests announced that the results were
positive. The "Labelled Release" (LR) experiments had given positive
results. Later NASA reversed its position. I spoke with Dr. Levin last week
who insists his Mar's life experiments proved there is life on Mars. When
the same two experiments were run on soil from Antarctica, the same
conflicting results were obtained (LR - positive; organics - negative.)
Soil from Antarctica definitely contains life. The test for organics was
negative because it is far less sensitive than the LR experiment. The same
problem could have caused the organics test on Mars to give a false
negative. Rick Berry has located this astounding image of multiple faces.
Flying over the faces can be seen from either direction.

Arthur C. Clarke said, "It is really quite amazing by what margins
competent but conservative scientists and engineers can miss the mark, when
they start with a preconceived idea, what they are investigating is
impossible. When this happens, the most well-informed men become blinded by
their prejudices and are unable to see what lies directly ahead of them."

Asteroid Misses Earth by only 25,000 Miles

Mitch Battros (ECTV) writes, "I know this is hard to believe, but it is
true. Just hours ago, a new razor close asteroid zoomed by Earth. It is
known as `2004 FY15'. I am researching like mad trying to find `who' found
this rock, and `when'. I will be reporting on this breaking news event as
information becomes available. Asteroid 2004 FY15 occurred early on March
27th. It was discovered by the Catalina Sky Survey (CSS) in Arizona and
confirmed early by Robert Hutsebaut of Brussels, Belgium. The object is 25
meters (75 feet) across. Distance was a mere 23,786 kilometers (14,780
miles). This is the 12,000 miles "closer" than last weeks Asteroid 2004 FH
"record close flyby". Folks, I realize most of you may not be able to grasp
just how close and dangerous this asteroid is. It is history making. Thanks

Methane Gas on Mars Indicates Life.

Two different teams, one using Mars Express, the second using the
Canada-France-Hawaii telescope, have discovered about the same proportion
of methane in the Martian atmosphere (roughly 1/100,000,000). This is about
100 times less than on Earth. According to the second team, "methanogenesis
by living subterranean organisms is the most likely explanation" (living

Massachusetts - Shape Shifting

METHUEN - The witness spotted a shape shifting object moving low to the
ground at 9:40 PM. on March 19, 2004. At first I thought it was a balloon
being launched from a local business but it was almost gas like in form. As
this mass went up, I realized it was changing shape with a slight changing
of color. I followed it up and then it started moving over my head pretty
high in the sky. I followed it until it went over my sister in laws house
and I couldn't see it anymore. I then saw three lights chasing it. These
lights seemed extremely high and moved extremely fast following the shape
changing objects exact path. I can only explain it as cloud like or gas
like with a self emitting light? It seemed to change shape and color. It
started low to the ground and rose slowly. I have never seen anything like
it before. I called my local Police, but no one else has reported anything.

Rhode Island - Egg Shaped Object

West Warwick - I was walking the dogs with my son and saw what I thought
was a falling star. I said "look a falling star". By the time I was done
saying that, I realized it wasn't a falling star because it was going
horizontally and it was much too low. So I yelled it's not a falling star,
it's a UFO and then I thought it could be a missile of some sort. But, it
split in two. Or perhaps there were two that were traveling close together
and just split apart. Then, one went east and the other went very slightly
south east.

New York - Sky Watch New Jersey - Abduction Investigation

PINE BUSH -- Vinny Polise writes, "Just 45 minutes from the hustle and
bustle of New York City, Pine Bush is one of the most serene places to
visit because of its peaceful surroundings and rolling hills but its secret
is frequent UFO visits." The winter months have been extremely hard on the
sky watchers with high winds and temperatures that dropped well below
freezing, but spring is upon us so the nightly UFO sky watches will become
more and more frequent. I was recently at the monthly meeting of the United
Friends Observer Society, which is held the first Wednesday of the month at
the Old School House on Route 52 in Walker Valley. Sightings are starting
to pick up once again.

New Jersey - Light Formations

TINTON FALLS - The observers have been seeing orbs near the Jersey Shore on
a regular basis. This is the 5th event in the last three months. They have
increased in frequency and because of other events the observers suspects
other aspects of these 'sightings' might be in effect on March 21, 2004 at
9 PM. I was heading out to the garage and felt panicked, something I
haven't felt since I was a young boy and it was exactly the same feeling,
specifically a feeling of being watched. The temperature had dropped
significantly, clearing the night sky for some good star viewing this
evening. I look at the night sky each and every night, as well as study
astrology and do some amateur astronomy, so I am VERY aware of the
positions of the planets. What I first thought to be Venus, was a bit too
high in the sky for 8:25pm. I kept looking and thought it was odd that it
looked as bright as it did in late February.

I continued to look and it faded into a very faint dot, and then
disappeared. "With that, I looked DIRECTLY above my head, and saw two more
bright 'dots' or orbs' which were flying in an echelon right formation,
heading due east. These things were bright looking stars, but lower than
real stars and they turned into dim dots (which then made them look more
natural like stars. I looked back in the direction of the first object and
it came 'zooming' back into full brightness.

HOPEWELL - On March 22, 2004 at 8 PM, while driving on back road near
Hopewell, two friends spotted a formation of four lights, with the bottom
three diagonal to the right. The top brightest light was slightly off to
the left. We looked at the formation for a minute while it stayed
stationary, and then the top brightest light began to move. It passed the
car and changed position from the right of the car over to the left. Once
we looked back at the remaining three lights, the next top one moved a
little to the right, flew straight up, then disappeared into the sky. After
driving a little while longer, we were shocked to find a number of blinking
lights surrounding the car. After a short amount of time, the objects
disappeared, and we noticed we were being followed by a mysterious car. The
car's headlights were so bright it caused my friend and me to comment on
growing headaches. When we slowed to allow the car to pass, it came to a
stop, and eventually fell behind us. The whole event lasted about ten
minutes.

North Carolina - Two Elongated Objects

VIRGINIA BORDER - The witness was driving south on Highway 220 toward
Greensboro at 5:30 PM, on March 14, 2004, when an object appeared in front
of him in the distance and was moving in a very fluid manner across the
sky. It was silver, elongated and left no contrail like a plane. There were
also two airliners in the air at what seemed to be about the same altitude
and they were leaving contrails, but this object was not. I kept watching
and then it just darted straight up and vanished. A few minutes later, I
saw another object that looked exactly the same as before. Its
characteristics were the same as the first. The second object stayed in the
sky moving to the west for just a few minutes and then it darted up and
away like the first object. It was difficult to tell the altitudes of the
objects, but I would say it was between 10,000 - 25,000 feet.

Kentucky - Huge Craft

LOUISVILLE - A huge cone shaped object was flying very slow and stopped for
a few seconds and then started moving again and then picked up speed at
4:10 AM on March 23, 2004. The witness was at a new cut road in Louisville
and got out of his car to view the huge craft that was a little over a mile
away at a 45 degree angle. The craft had four lights that were visible, two
on the top and two on the bottom. It was moving northwest and the weather
was clear at 32 degrees. There was no sound and it had to be at least 300
yards long. The top was about half of that. This had to be the mother of
the mother ships. This was not a plane, bird, or chopper. I know what I
saw. I have a degree in criminal justice, private investigations and
certified in missing persons and studied bounty hunting and fingerprinting,
I work on facts and facts only, and this is a fact.

Ohio - Disc Paces Cars

SHEFFIELD LAKE -- Around 11 PM on Friday night, March 19, 2004, three
friends decided to go to a local pub and were driving west on US Route 6
towards Lorain at about 35 mph in light traffic. The road follows the
southern shore of Lake Erie, homes line both sides of the road, and those
on our right have the lake as their backyard. Two friends were in the first
vehicle and a friend was following. They could see a very bright white
light ahead on the right in a cluster of trees. They thought it might be a
medical helicopter traveling along the shoreline but it was not moving. As
we cleared the trees there it was about 50 feet above the lake right next
to a large house. There was a very bright white light but as they got
closer they could make out faintly in the light a saucer shaped object with
a dome on top and one red and blue light below it, steady not flashing. The
light was very intense yet gave no reflection, not on the house or on the
ground. The witness states, "I'm still driving westbound in some traffic, I
slowed down and want to stop but unless you go into a driveway you can't.
Then the object started moving, pacing us at about 30mph, still maintaining
its position over the shore line and going behind houses for thirty
minutes, yet no reflection on anything." It looked to be about 20 to 25
feet in diameter and did not change its appearance. My friend said, "Be
careful driving, since I was staring at the UFO."

All of a sudden a feeling of fear came over me, not just being afraid but
near terror. I was driving OK, and leaving about seven or eight car lengths
behind the car in front because I was trying to make out exactly what the
shape within that light was and keeping along side of it. Then, I thought
what's with this fear. Then the fear left and I had a feeling of
contentment. We watched the ship the whole time, and after about 5 blocks,
we made the one traffic light, the UFO started to speed up and flew faster
and faster heading west and climbing until its light became a pinpoint. The
climb was very gradual as it accelerated away very smoothly. The person
following us didn't see a thing. The geographical location is near Avon
Point on Lake Erie. I downed a drink as soon as we got to the pub.

Minnesota - Flying Triangle

OAKDALE - The witness reports, "On this night My fiance, her daughter and
myself witnessed a triangular object flying northeast on March 24, 2004. It
passed directly over our vehicle as we were driving due south at 9 PM. We
saw it initially coming towards us several miles away. I said to my fiance,
"Look, there is a UFO". In jest at first because we are both sky-watchers.
I said this because I am not used to seeing aircraft with dominate blue and
green lights. There were 6 lights visible from the bottom of the craft. Two
lights, with a blue and a green that were dominate. There were three
yellow/white lights about 1/3 as bright as the green and blue lights. Also,
a slightly fainter red light. The red light was on the leading edge of the
triangle at the apex. Two thirds of the way back to the base of the
triangle were green and blue lights nearer to the edges. At the base were
the three yellow/white lights centered on the base between the green and
blue lights.

As it came closer and then right over us, it was very clear that this was
not a helicopter and it was flying at 1200 feet altitude and there was no
sound. It seemed to be going no more than 80 miles per hour. I turned
around to follow it and kept up pretty well at 50 MPH. I was in a
residential area and soon had to stop. We stopped and watched it for
several minutes and saw a helicopter flying NW seemingly going towards this
object. There was also another helicopter going directly N and to our left
that seemed to be headed in that direction, also. It was very easy to hear
and see that these were helicopters. As the triangle reached five miles
north of us it turned to the northwest. I am former Air Force and know
aircraft but this is the first time I have been stumped ;)

Texas - UFO Photographed

ROUND ROCK - The witness was outside and noticed what looked like a plane
leaving a contrail going straight up on March 22, 2004. There was something
sitting there next to the contrail at 11:30 AM. He states, "I got two
pictures before it disappeared." It was glowing on the bottom and silver on
top. He was facing toward Austin Bergstrom Airport, but 30 miles south of
it. Maybe it is the angle, but I swear it seemed it was taking off almost
straight up and moving pretty fast too. mmay1@austin.rr.com

Arizona - Light

LAKE HAVASU CITY - A bright reddish-orange light was spotted southeast of
the city phasing on and off in an inconsistent north-to-south-to-north
again pattern. I saw a bright, artificial light (relative in terms to the
stars) in the sky southeast of the city. On first sighting it "turned on"
for about 3 or 4 seconds, holding, then phased out on March 24, 2004 at
8:30 PM. Approximately 3 seconds later it flared again, but more to the
south, in the same manner as it did before. About 15 seconds later it
flared again, but more to the north. The light was orange-red in color.
Other aircraft were observed in the vicinity of the light. It should be
noted that Nellis AFB is approximately 150 miles to the north, while Luke
AFB is about 200 miles to the east. The light was not a shooting star, as
it exhibited no like patterns. I don't claim that the object was a UFO or a
craft of any type, but it was inconsistent with anything else I've seen,
and I've lived in the open West near air force bases and missile testing
facilities nearly all my life. I also make a living based on my ability to
observe.

California - Disk and Sphere

VALENCIA -- Looking out my bedroom window, i observed an unusual hovering
object in the distance. The shape was somewhat difficult to see, as it was
far away, and high, in a dark sky. However, three lights, in a horizontal
row, each light seemingly multicolored (white, pink, green...but difficult
to tell for sure) maintained the same position until i went to bed about an
hour later. Possible blimp? My husband is an astrogeophysicist and said
that it was the closest thing to a UFO he has ever seen.

Santa Monica - The craft came from the west out from over the Pacific Ocean
at 12:15 PM, on March 15, 2004. It was flying much higher than the
commercial jet traffic over Los Angeles. It looked like four shiny metallic
spheres traveling at a very high velocity together. They passed over the
Los Angeles Valley then went over the mountains to the east of Burbank
heading east. Less than two minutes passed from the time I spotted the
object over the Pacific to the time it went over Los Angeles and over the
mountain east of Burbank and out of sight. The craft was much bigger than a
commercial jet and as it rotated up it formed the classical chevron shape.
I've made several 3D renderings of what I saw to help explain.

MODESTO - R. David Anderson writes, "I have been seeing UFO's while I was
working on a sunroom addition on our house. I noticed one twice last week
while I was working and on March 22, 2004. I finished up around 4 PM, and
rested with my new 4.3 digital camera nearby. After about 35 minutes, I saw
the UFO to the north flying at about 30 mph and was probably about 250 feet
high. It's direction of travel was toward the Southeast. I picked up the
camera and began to take pictures, following it's movement as it went from
the northern sky to the eastern sky in about 45 seconds. It went behind a
large tree. When it came back into my view it had climbed much higher and
began to dim as it moved farther away. My seven year old daughter also saw
this UFO."

Washington -Three Flying Lights

YAKIMA -- They moved slowly across the ridge to the valley on March 17,
2004, at 8:10 PM, as if looking for something at 8:20 PM. The witness was
out driving in the West Valley area when he saw three lights in the sky.
The witness says, "At first I thought they were just star's until they
moved, so I stopped and started watching." They were moving slow at first
across a ridge line then down in a valley over homes and field's making no
sound's at all They were three small round or flat lights with a steady
gold glow. I watched for about ten or fifteen minuets and all at once they
were gone in to the night sky!

Canada - Prime Minister Sees UFO's

RUE DE LA MONTAGNE, QC - The witness was outside his apartment building at
Orion when coming from the west, he saw a slightly faint looking orange
light on March 21, 2004, at 9:45 PM. It was not lit up and probably the
reflection of the sun or even the city lights made it visible. It seemed to
be two "X" shaped or square craft. The angle made it appear that there were
two of them, almost diagonal to each other, but very close to one another.
There could have been something I couldn't see attaching the two, and it
could have been only one, with two X square shaped edges. They seemed to
"wobble" as if hanging off a string and were a reddish-orange color, going
in a straight "wobbly" direction right across the sky towards the east.
They were going much faster than any plane but not as fast as a falling
star. It didn't seem as high as planes fly at 35,000 feet.

OTTAWA (CP) - What fate the stars hold for Paul Martin may be unclear. But
one thing's certain: Canada's prime minister recently had a high-flying
close encounter with a UFO. Martin and his entourage were cruising above
Alberta when their Challenger jet came within another worldly whisker of a
luminous object streaking through the night sky. In a report to Edmonton
air traffic controllers, the pilot of Martin's plane noted seeing a "very
bright light falling" through the air, with smoke trailing, while the
aircraft passed over Suffield, Alta., on Sunday, March 21.

People aboard at least two other planes also saw the plummeting object,
which was traveling "at a very fast rate of speed" from a high altitude,
says the report. A copy of the one-page form, titled "UFO Procedures," was
provided to the Canadian Press by Chris Rutkowski of the Winnipeg-based
group Ufology Research of Manitoba. Rutkowski, a longtime tracker of UFO
sightings, obtained the report from the federal Transport Department, which
routinely forwards him data on unidentified flying objects. Martin traveled
to a farm near Picture Butte, Alta., to announce an aid package for farmers
last Monday. So was an extraterrestrial envoy trying to convey a message to
Canada's new leader? Unlikely, says Rutkowski. What the prime minister's
plane and many others saw that night was almost certainty a chunk of a
comet or an asteroid that entered Earth's atmosphere and burned up into
fragments. An amateur astronomer in Calgary captured the blazing streak on
videotape. And it appears one or more such fireballs were seen by people
across the Prairies and as far east as Quebec.

In any event, it's unclear if Martin or his aides even glimpsed the object
that crossed the plane's path. The group's recently released 2003 survey
found that a record 673 reports of unidentified objects were made to
various organizations and investigators in Canada.

CALGARY, ALBERTA - Three witnesses reported seeing two discs on March 28,
2004, at 5:10 PM. I was looking into the sky at the Confederation driving
range watching a ball when I saw the first object moving across the sky at
a high rate of speed. I was able to point it out to two friend and they
tracked it with me. As we watched it move across the sky - we noticed a
second one in front of it, they were moving at such an incredible rate of
speed that they simply vanished into the distance. The two objects were
circular in shape and had a silver metallic color to them. Thanks to HBCC

Brazil - Flying Triangle

JOAN=C3=93POLIS - On March 22, 2004, at 3 AM, a flying triangle was seen
for thirty minutes over Brazil. It appeared in the west side of the dam and
JAGUAR=C3=8C. Later another craft appeared. Both objects were flying
triangles with a golden color. Later, the objects passed over a vehicle

UK/Scotland - Cylinder

MOTHERWELL - At 11 PM on March 22, 2004, the witness was sitting watching
television when out the corner of his eye he caught something green colored
flying by. The witness saw a bright green cylinder, about twice the
diameter of a ball. It appeared to be traveling at a phenomenal speed but
it was difficult to tell how far away it was. It was traveling in an arc
like it may have been following the earth's curvature. It disappeared from
my view when it seemed to dip behind some buildings on the skyline. The
speed and the color really made an impact on me, hence this report. I have
never seen a "UFO" but I cannot deny what I saw.

England - Flying Triangle

LANGFORD -- A formation of three white pinpoints of light slowly crossed
the night sky at very high altitude on on March 15, 2004 at 12:15 PM. The
lights formed the shape of an isosceles triangle, or Greek letter Delta
rotated anti-clockwise by 45 degrees. I would estimate that the lights that
were furthest apart from each other (which were in "line astern" formation)
subtended an angle of around 5 degrees from where I saw them. They were
moving ESE over a period of about 5-10 minutes.

Note: Peter Davenport indicates the NOSS Navy triple satellites on
www.heavens-above.com database indicates that NOSS 2 or NOSS 2-1 are likely
suspects, as the ground track and timings fits very well.

Jordan - Cigar Shaped UFO

AMMAN -- My son and I were looking at the Taurus constellation close to the
moon on March 25, 2004 at 7:25 PM when we registered something passing by
heading direction north (coming south) 50 meters high. We thought at first
it was a bird or a bat, but there were no wings, just this cigar shaped
object (50cm long) passing by without any sound. The color was something
like cherry wood. It made some 100 meters within 10 seconds.
