Mars - The Living Planet
Since 1877, when Schiaparelli announced his discovery that a network of
straight lines covered Mars surface, this finding has been the subject of
great controversy among astronomers. American astronomer Percival Lowell
thought the lines represented the work of intelligent beings, and
interpreted them has canals that brought water from the poles and caused
green vegetation that sprouted each spring in 60 degree weather at the
equator.
Throughout my life I have searched the ruins of ancient civilizations in
Egypt, Mexico, US, Turkey, and England. Additionally, as an intelligence
officer, I evaluated bomb damaged sites in Vietnam. Preliminary Filer's
Research Institute findings indicate we have found evidence of an ancient
civilization on Mars.
An early and non-conclusive theory indicates an extraterrestrial settlement
was destroyed most likely by an asteroid or meteorite blasting debris out
of the Gusev Crater for several miles around with the power of an atomic
bomb.
We have nicknamed the city 'Gavesak' based on some of the letters or
symbols we have found. The area is covered with millions of rocks laying in
the soil sticking up in various angles. Some have landed on each other.
Consequently, we are looking at bits and pieces of rock that appear to be
the remains of what as once a city or temple. Although it is difficult to
determine a date this happened based on the slim evidence, all indications
are that the blast occurred thousands, if not millions of years ago.
Gusav Crater Contains Fossils
There is the fascinating possibility that the water-laid sediments in Gusev
crater could contain fossils. In 1995, Gusev crater was included in NASA's
report, "An Exobiological Strategy for Mars Exploration" (NASA Publication
SP-530) as a priority site for future biological exploration.
If intelligent life existed on Mars the Ma'adim Vallis, in the southern
cratered uplands, one of the largest valley networks on the planet is an
ideal place for city. There would have been plenty of river water available
from the valley that extends some 900 kilometers, passing through the
160-km-diameter Gusev crater at 14.7oS, 184.5oW. Younger, smaller impact
craters on the southern and northern rims of Gusev opened the pathway for
water from Ma'adim Vallis.
Although some construction or blasting could have opened the flow of the
river. The Martian climate, large amounts of water, composition of the
soils does not rule out life either past or present. It is difficult to
determine which impact caused the destruction of 'Gavesak' and the ejection
of its debris around the crater.
Viking Lander Found a Letter 'B' on Mars
When the Viking Space Craft landed on Mars in 1976, it captured images of a
rock with a 'B' symbol carved into a rock. It was dismissed because it was
unlikely Martians would use our English alphabet. Many of us thought it
might be Martian, and in January of 1977, the National Geographic came out
with an article favorable to the search for life providing data by Dr.
Gerald V. Levin one of the most brilliant scientists in the country.
Cyanobacteria Found by Microbioligist
Microbiologist Dr. Annamarie Johnstone writes, Proof that living
microorganisms exist in the soil on Mars, was found in 1976, during the
Mars Viking Lander Mission. Dr. Gerald V. Levin, came to this conclusion
after developing a successful technique, using automated instruments, to
detect microbial life that has earthlike metabolism. In his Labeled Release
Experiment of the Lander Project, Martian soil was inoculated into sterile
culture media and incubated, to detect gas production. A circadian (daily)
rhythm of 24.66 hour gas release indicated that microbial life exists in
the top layer of the Martian surface. The current Mars Opportunity Rover
spectrographic instruments found elevated levels of sulfur in the form of
sulfates in the Martian soil, that would indicate an abundance of available
oxygen to oxidize sulfur to this state. Photosynthetic, oxygen producing
Cyanobacteria in and on the Mars substrate may be the source of oxygen for
oxidation of sulfur, as well as iron, on the planet.
As Cyanobacteria (Cyanophyta) increased the oxygen content of the earth's
atmosphere in the Proterozoic era, iron sediments were oxidized into red
ferric oxide, resulting in a change of color in earth's sedimentary layers
from gray to red. If like bacteria are present on Mars, this may account
for the preponderance of red sediments on Mars, as well. Cyanobacteria are
also known as Blue Green Algae (Cyanophyta), prokaryotic (primitive) cells
lacking a nuclear membrane and some cellular organelles. Blue and green
pigments in the cells are involved in photosynthetic metabolism. The
"Blueberries" described in the Mars Opportunity Rover report may be living
Cyanobacteria encased in a protective fungal sheath (lichens) and or
fossilized Cyanobacteria called stromatolites. The latter develop as these
bacteria initiate precipitation of calcium carbonate in water, surrounding
the bacterial colonies, and trapping the cells in sedimentary concretions.
This process continues to occur on the earth today and may occur on Mars
when water is available. "Blueberries" in the sedimentary rock layers of
Mars may be stromatolites.

Journal of Microscopy Claims Life on Mars
It is interesting to note that, The Journal of Microscopy announced just
last week that Australian scientists believe they have found evidence that
life once existed on Mars. They have found that microscopic fossils of
primitive bacteria-like organisms in a Mars meteorite match characteristics
of bacteria found in mud in Queensland.
Evidence of an Ancient Civilization Found
Our examination of thousands of images has led us to theorize that we might
be observing an ancient civilization similar to the Mayan/Olmec or Egyptian
Civilizations. Strangely, the symbols and writing are very similar to
English. The symbols or letters A, E, G, H, P, V, and Y have been found.
The Y symbol is the most numerous and often has deep round holes drilled at
the three corners. This gives us a clue concerning when the symbols may
have been brought to Earth.
'Y' is not in the Phoenician alphabet, but is in the Greek alphabet.
According to the Encyclopedia Britannica the Egyptians first developed
writing very suddenly with hieroglyphics, but with the invention of papyrus
paper much was passed on to the Phoenicians, in about the 10th century BC.
The Phoenicians are thought to have developed most of our known alphabet
with 24 consonants that were then transmitted to Greece. Ezekiel records
that he saw the wheel near Babylon about 600 BC. We can speculate that
there was some form of contact at that period. Many rocks appear to have
artistic carvings and craftsman like work in the stone. One rock appears to
be the sculptured head of a nobleman that looks very similar to depiction's
of heads found today in the Yucatan Peninsula and the ancient Maya region
of Mexico.

Mayan writing is quite different from that found on Mars. It is apparent
that the development of an alphabet on Mars and a similar one here by
accident is very unlikely and indicates some sort of communication between
the planets. A study or our alphabet and the Martian one would likely
reveal a time frame of intervention. Also the carvings suggest large
humanoids.
The Bible give us some hints, "God created man in his likeness." And it
came to pass, when men began to multiply on the face of the earth, and
daughters were born unto them, that the sons of God saw the daughters of
men were fair; and they took them wives of all which they chose. There were
giants in the earth in those days and also after that, when the sons of god
came in unto the daughters of men of renown." Genesis Chapter 6. 1,2,- 4
The faces on the Martian rocks provide a clue to the origin of some races
on Earth. They remind me of the classic features on the Olmec or Maya
natives in Mexico, Belize, and Guatemala. When I visited Mexico, I noticed
the sloped back heads, large wide noses and lips on many of the Mayan
people. Some of the construction debris also reminds me of much of the
stone construction throughout the ancient Middle East. I suggest caution,
because a great deal more study is needed to confirm these preliminary
findings.

and possible face.
We get some interesting confirmation from the story of creation of the
Mayas contained in "The Code of the Kings" book by Linda Schele and Peter
Mathews. "The third Creation was destroyed by a great flood on earth. When
the Maize Gods arrived at the place of the new Creation, they sprang up
from a crack in the back of a Cosmic Turtle." The Maya saw this turtle as
the three stars that we call Orion's Belt, and they also saw the crack in
the turtle's back as the ball court. Once reborn, the Maize Gods directed
four old gods to set up the first Hearth of Creation to center the new
order. The gods set up this hearth on 13.0.0.0. or August 13, 3114 B.C."

So the Maya's and scholars claim a connection. We continue to gather proof
of a former civilization on Mars and urge your input. We urgently need
archeologists, biologists, zoologists and people with similar expertise.
JPL/NASA has informed us that since there was no chance of life on Mars,
they do not have expertise in these fields of life. Additionally, there are
no tests for life contained on the Mars Rovers. Their $800 million purpose
for the landings was to find water and they have accomplished their
mission.
Both Cosmonauts and Astronauts such as Edgar Mitchell who walked on the
moon are making pronouncements that the Earth has been visited by

ANCIENT OLMECS HAD CELESTIAL NAVIGATION FORMULAS
Astronaut Gordon Cooper in his book "A Leap of Faith" tells the reader his
strong views on the existence of extraterrestrial intelligence and even the
distinct possibility that we have already had contact." His photographic
team at Edwards Air Force Base photographed a landing of a disc craft.
Astronaut Gordon Cooper in his book states, "During my final years with
NASA, I became involved in a different kind of adventure: undersea treasure
hunting in Mexico. One day, accompanied by a National Geographic
photographer, we landed in a small plane on an island in the Gulf of
Mexico; local residents pointed out to them pyramid-shaped mounds, where
they found ruins, artifacts and bones. I contacted the Mexican government
and was put in touch with the head of the National Archaeology Department,
Pablo Bush Romero." Together with Mexican archeologists the two went back
to the site. After some excavating, Cooper writes, "The age of the ruins
was confirmed at 3000 B.C. Compared with other advanced civilizations,
relatively little was known about the Olmecs who made large statues of
their faces." "Engineers, farmers, artisans, and traders, the Olmecs had a
remarkable civilization. But it is still not known where they originated...
Among the findings that intrigued me most: that, when translated, turned
out to be mathematical formulas used to this day for navigation, and
accurate drawings of constellations, some of which would not be officially
'discovered' until the age of modern telescopes. "It was this, rather than
his experiences as an astronaut, that triggered Gordon Cooper's "Leap of
faith": "This left me wondering: Why have celestial navigation signs if
they weren't navigating celestially?" And he asks: "If 'someone' had helped
the Olmecs with this knowledge, from whom did they get it?"

Sea Lilly's on Mars
Jason Lange writes, "I'm very familiar with fossils found in Colorado, and
the fossils are shown are Crinoids (sea lillys) they are very common here
on earth and I've seen thousands. There are many different types. They are
found where a body of water once existed. If this is a crinoid like I
believe it is, then there was life on Mars."

Others See Faces on Mars
Mr. Filer, First, I must congratulate you on your excellent site at:
www.georgefiler.com/ . I came upon it by surfing and spent a good hour
perusing your links and articles. Something became quite apparent to me
upon first viewing, and I am wondering if you have noticed it as well. In
your fourth picture down in the main page (ET Rock), I noticed a distinctly
alien face. I don't have Photoshop, and I cannot outline the face on the
picture as I see it, so I will try to describe it as best as I can. Maybe
you will be able to outline it.
Let's imagine the E Rock is a gerbil facing left. You can see it's snout
and the ear, laying against its body, the buttocks resting on the ground.
If you look where the eye would be you can see a dark oval/round shape that
can work as an eye. Above the dark oval/round shape you see a smaller
bean-sized dark shape (maybe 70% NE from the shape and directly above it).
Above from this shape, to the right and some 60% NE from the kidney bean
shape we can see a shape that looks like an eye. Ok, so take the eye, the
kidney bean shape, which looks like a nose, and the dark oval/round shape,
which looks like a gaping mouth, and you have a distinct alien face. The
right eye is missing, but the alien appearance is very obvious to me.

IMAGE OF TREES, FOREST, STREAM AND OTHER OBJECTS
Engineer Norman Bryden writes, "Here are the links to the full image of the
forest and other objects. Put this image on a large screen TV and look at
the many objects in the image. There are fallen trees, live ones and many
structures.

Conceding that Mars has the chemistry necessary for life is tantamount to
an open invitation for microbiologists to join JPL's zealously guarded
ranks. For scientists supposedly enamored with "searching for life" on the
Red Planet, the JPL team has always been careful to exclude the life
sciences from its post-Viking Mars ventures that cost close to a billion
dollars. Neither of the rovers has any life-detection instrumentation nor
do future probes have instruments for detecting life. I urge Dr.Charles
Elachi Director Jet Propulsion Laboratory to look at some of these images
that appear as present vegetation, trees, and a possible river on Mars.
Note: We need experts in life sciences and archeology.
New York - Flying Triangle and Huge UFO
NYACK -- When crossing the Tappan Zee bridge on February 21, 2004, at 3 PM,
my wife snapped photos of the area because she though it would be a nice
place to buy a house. I downloaded the pictures and to my surprise there
was some thing in the picture that shouldn't have been there.

New York City (Brooklyn) -- A magazine/book editor and writer was walking
down Pacific Street in Brooklyn, on February 14, 2004, about 7:30 PM, when
he saw a glowing whitish neon-green orb shoot through the sky, going south
west, faintly lighting up the night. He reports, "I stopped in my tracks as
it moved as fast as a shooting star, straight on the horizon, about 30,000
feet but it was huge." The size of tennis ball at arm's length, perfectly
spherical, and it left a trail in its wake. It receded as it moved away
from me in a straight line, and then vanished into the darkness. "I've
never seen anything like it before in my life!"

Delaware -Circular Lights
NEWCASTLE -- Every night you can see this round object in the sky that only
moves slightly in the vicinity o Newcastle Air Base. Sometimes it will move
real fast. Other times you can see military planes circling around it,
usually when it is lower. You can definitely tell it is not a plane, star,
or anything that is a common sight on a daily basis. On February 28, 2004,
at 6 PM, we saw it. You can see it best, when there are clouds in the sky
and there are no stars visible to the eye. Sometimes it will vanish
suddenly but it is very suspicious.

Florida - Lights and Flying Triangle
NOKOMIS The object appeared to be over the Gulf of Mexico on February 11,
2004, at 8 PM. At first there were three lights with rays of light above
and below. Then two sets of three smaller lights appeared between the three
lights. It began vertical and depending where you stood it was horizontal
or at varying degrees turned. There were up to 21 lights. I called the
police and an officer witnessed this as well. He called in a helicopter and
when it was headed in the direction of the lights they disappeared only to
return within five minutes. We saw them in the same location from night
fall until 8 PM, so for three other nights and then we returned from our
vacation.

FT. WALTON BEACH - A craft was hovering over an area at the edge of Eglin
Air Force base runway on February 13, 2004, at 9:30 PM. The craft was
triangular with bright lights at bottom and maneuvered up and down and side
ways with absolutely no sound and appeared to be about the size of a
Stealth. The craft was either on or near the air base and was sighted by
someone who is very familiar with that area. I am convinced the Air Force
had to have known about this craft or was responsible for it. Perhaps the
reason so many UFO sightings are in the Panama City area.

Alabama - Fireball Like the Shuttle Explosion!
HARTSELLE - A couple was leaving their parents house on February 22, 2004,
at 8:05 PM, when they noticed the brightest object they had ever seen in
the sky. It traveled across the sky in a northwestern trajectory. The
witnesses commented, "It was almost identical to the footage of the recent
shuttle explosion and we saw it burning entering the Earth's atmosphere
with the longest tail we have ever seen. "We watched the last meteor shower
in its entirety and never saw anything resembling this!" It traveled about
10 feet then exploded. After that it traveled about 25 more feet and
exploded again and the show was over. My father-in-law works for NASA and
has confirmed no humans in space at that time with the exception of the
space station which moved over head thirty minutes earlier. He contributes
this to falling space debris.

Ohio - Silver Metallic Wingless Cigar
LYNDHURST -- Driving north on Brainard road, just before Mayfield on
February 11, 2004, at 8:22 AM, the witness noticed a long, silver object
about 50 degrees above horizon. He was stopped at a traffic light and
realized the object had no wings or tail assembly. It was 1/2 inch in
length at arm's length with high reflectivity and one dark spot midway on
the body. The object kept a constant side on view, rapidly receded away to
the north in less than five seconds and disappeared. It did not bank and
turn, there was no vapor trail, I heard no sound.

Oklahoma - Saucers and Three Bright Lights Hovering
SALLISAW - The observers saw a very bright light in the southwest sky on
February 14, 2004, about 7:30 PM, that seemed to be hovering at a low
altitude. They state, "We began to look around and saw two more, one to the
east, and the other to the west. We got our binoculars out to get a better
look and saw a saucer shaped object, it was very large. The object seemed
to have very bright lights in quarter sections around it. The lights were
fire red, purple, orange and a light green color. The other two were the
same but smaller. The one in the southwest was lowering itself slowly to
the ground as it did it turned triangular shaped and all we could see was a
fire red color with clear, bright light glowing around it. It went down
into the side of a mountain. Then we started looking at the other two. They
moved back and forth and up and down then they just disappeared.

Texas - Disc Shaped Object
ALEDO -- At about 5:00 PM, the witness spotted something outside on
February 27, 2004, at 5:30 PM, asked his family about a high flying object.
The second witness went outside and looked up to see an object floating
along at a leisurely pace. The object would waiver back and forth showing
that it was a flat disc. I watched it for about 10 minutes before it
floated quite high and became very hard to see. I wouldn't be reporting
this except for the fact that this object seemed to be rather large, and it
was a disc shape. There were no lights at all on the object, no sound, and
it had a shiny metallic skin. I "think" there was a design on the flat face
of the object, but I couldn't make it out.

Washington -- Three Hovering Sparkling Objects
SEATTLE -- While taking a walk on Capitol Hill overlooking Downtown
waterfront on February 29, 2004, at 11:20 PM, the witnesses noticed a
rapidly sparkling object in the sky. It had no FAA strobe pattern and was
sparkling at a rapid pace changing colors all the while. It would change
colors from a bright white to yellow, blue, bright red, and green which
could be seen just before it dimmed. We watched it for almost an hour
hoping it would move or do something but all it did was hover in the same
spot. No star field was visible this night and it was too close and bright
to be a star. I must say that we saw two other objects that matched the
description of the main object, but the two other ones were farther away
and disappeared from view. I am not sure if they flew away in the opposite
direction to us or if they literally disappeared. They were in a row
stretching out to the west.

Canada - Flying Disco Light
CALGARY - The witness, a business owner, was facing west and noticedescribed
above and had more lights located at the edges. The objects were flying in
'V' formation and were looking marvelous... I'll never forget this night.
