Hello Warren, and anyone entering this realm of the unknown...

Yes I changed the topic title to suit the situation...

Of course it is. They had it covered with searchlights, even
had pictures taken, as it seems.

Aaaah Sooo ... you and I saw the same TV show, where they were asked
or accepted a challenge to look into it, and even visited the battery
and got help setting up and using guns used at the time, out in a test
area. They even had searchlights and when the pictures were taken
they were pretty close to the originals, but then it didn't help in
solving what it was, just that it wasn't what was claimed, as that
came down in a few quick bursts.

There was a lot to that TV show, that gave interesting reasons
why the object didn't fall.

There is a better reason why UFOs are not seen at Star Partys. This
is due to telescopes being focused for deep space....not the atmosphere.
It was an enjoyable evening<s> and things whizzing by... were ID'ed
which we reminded me of Great Britain, whereby just about everyone
was watching for enemy planes, and when spotted could ID them, or
by hearing them ID the type of aircraft. Far cry from today.

I was looking at an old exhibit of those paper balloons the Japanese
senr from Japan to North America. Then this morning the news of the
sea of disaster coming from Japan after the Wave. Oh yeah... back to
the balloons and the warning. Apparently they feel there might be
some left, and like bear warnings in the park... they have them also
made know to tourists, about this threat from the past.

Reminds me of the guy in the USA who took home a Civil War cannonball
he found to grind open, and it was fused, and he blew his garage to
powder....his home and a few neighbours.

Oh well ... next topic.
