Hello Peter ZS2ABF .... Great to hear you have not been abducted.
Or ...mmmm...well you might ,if had ....well it would be an
adventure and a half...and then only worthwhile, if you got back
to report it.
Okay ... anyway.... tell your sysop, we're all happy he is keeping
it going. Perhaps with this new wave of interest in packet
we'll be in business again with more users...but then also a
trip to the nearest hammie club might be in order to demo packet
and how worthwhile it is.
Sorry to hear also that your contact here in CANADA is gone, as
there perhaps goes your source..if we can not convince him to
keep us informed. What province is he in? I am in Ontario.
Perhaps too...I'll see him..if he is in Ontario, at the Star
party September 18-19-20, 2009 at Mew lake in Algonquin Park.
Don't know if he is into Astronomy, but these fellows and gals
might have seen something that classes as a UFO...maybe ???
I am still out on the issue, as I have never seen one.
Too many imaginative star trekkie minds out there that
make it hard enough... So anyhow .... glad to see you
are still there ..... and if I ever see anything ..it
will get posted.
