Its nice to see some interrest in this discussion group.
No , I am not "shure" if aliens would disclosure any - few -
little or all knowledge (on) to US.
This alone is NOT necessary to spur on things :
The knowledge that we are not alone in this universe would
change some religions and related thinkings.
The knowledge that FTL - faster than light -is possible.
The knowledge alone would spur on some more research and
would revolutionise our thinking, physics and else.
Never mind how precisely - BUT when we know that it is
possible...
Who says they! the Aliens have not imparted their knowledge
on us?
On US? maybe not on us living in the 2009 by now.
The Pyramids?
The Air vieveable artefacts in South America?
ETC.
Shure , we try to explain that "Humans" where capable of
such monuments. But then WHY? Why there and not else, the
lonely figurines of some islands? Would humans really be so
bold to work their !@##$@#% off for ..eh , exactly what
for??
Folks , the example I brought out for discussion is just one
more ... posibility , thinkable and explored.
And NO , I dont think Aliens should run our politics...BUT
come to think of it...if it is that advanced WE would
inevitably take over a ... say modified form of it all.
As it stands now :
We cannot trust our politicians.
We cannot trust the military.
Do we listen to our professors who alwasys say : it never
will fly?
What do we now of our ancestors of 2-3000 years ago?
These Wars and more wars have brouhght on us a preoccupation
with deleting ourselves. Despite that humans have multiplied
so rapidly that rabbits even blush.
Rabbits have their "Mycomatose" Humans work on erradicating
HIV/Aids etc.
Aliens would not have to disclose fully their advancements.
But it "IT" could be that hey are way to far advanced to
give us any advice. And then they would show little
interrest...Eh , someone will say, : Real researchers would
not do that !
Oih...We are applying human feelings there...
And as such we are trying our best to warfare our enemies
out of this world.
If this Universe is so great and DOES contain untold other
species on uncounted other Planets... We will just take
ourselves as to much important...for the sake as of
ourselves.
As much as we want to know the future...it is MY belief that
our past holds the Key.
Our past is more accesssible than tomorrow.
All WE humans are a key, the proof to our existence.
Following it back will give us the explanation.
Easier said than done...
With our lifespan of , say 80 years, we do not compare
favorably with the closest Galaxie.
As such we rely on "Artefacts" ... If any.
Wars might have obliterated many...
Such is our fate.
