Well Peter wanted to start a : "Discussion" Group.

As so many here are writing little , it's possibly me alone
then.

So , WHY haven't they (!) visited us then ?

Any so advanced populace would be capable of receiving and
decoding our Radio and TV signals. And what would they see?
( for the informed , thats why the Vulcan "Spock" has now
pointed ears which shrivel at the mention of "Earth".

Many so often the question arises, they are capable of space
travel - and more probably - SO, Why havent they visited
Earth openly and introduced themselfs in an approbiate
fashion?

Methinks the answer is obvious. WE have nothing to offer
them. Nothing they alredy know nor need. Nor want.

Our worlds are not only light years physically apart but
mentally and in evolution, envolvement and physics and , and
, and.
Yes , WE could learn so much from them - BUT like children
we are... Don't give them any matches and knives and
scissors.
Or - in this case of course the alien equivalent. Earthlings
tend to turn any new development into a new tool for the
military.

And as it it seems , the many encounters man had , all look
like we are more a "Specimen" then a welcome spacetraveler.

Otherwise , we have so many riddles on our planet which
needs to be solved and might give us more insight. like the
Pyramids - not only the Aegyptian ones, the big figures on
some islands and the aerial vieveable pictorials discovered
so far. Our past must have been an exiting time, and at such
a time with less wars , but had inspired some grandiose work
which purpose we fail to grasp. There seems to be a gap in
our evolution and the wars later haven't helped any.

BTW. As I write this: it is a clear night and Jupiter and
some other bright stars are a beautuful sight. And as I
watch the sky, now several times , jupiters light is wiped
out in a second or so due to some high clouds, which are
almost invisible due to the street/town lights. This gives a
nice vanishing effect many have so often described...
