Hello Pete ZS2ABF ...from another Pete VE3WBZ. ... Perhaps
too those with more then they know are not allowed under
their country's laws to say a thing of what they saw...
I don't mind the nonsensical ones ...I got enough on a all
night TV show I hosted, where we allowed callers to phone
us up and talk on a range of subjects....UFO was one, and
Star Trek ... and anything popular at the time...

If Packet is taking a backseat...why are we...well we
are here, being jammed and swamped by auto-stations
belonging to ARES timing us out all the time.
Seems to me, they have lost the gleam on the Internet
where no one cares about them, and well if they have
packet they are assured a great discussion, if they
want to...as well accept someone else's opinion.

BBSes were the rage before the Internet. They were programs
whereby a dedicated computer and modem would accept calls on
a dedicated line, and those with access could enter message
conferences and post like on packet....as well we had games
and gateways...like to packet for licenced hams. We also
had files..programs, games, pictures and anything.
FidoNet was like on packet...BBSes passing messages to others
via a hop system...call a BBS...at a cetain time...Upload what
you have for the Network, and download messages for the FidoNet
Message Conferences which were separate from your in home stuff.
I still have a BBS program, and in 2009 I have to decide whether
to re-start it, as I got donations for the BBS from other users
who want it back. Presently it is on...but no telephone
and I send out QWKmail to those with access to insert in a
program called and Offline Reader ...they can read...also
respond or post...and email the BBS the QWKmail REPly file
which is automatically inserted in the BBS program.
On the subject of Permission...I am looking for the article in
our local paper here to send you. Someone saw ...yep...a
UFO close to here... No I didn't see it...nor anyone else
but they did.... I wonder if your Canadian Mr. Vike knows
about this one?
I want to send the newspaper here some of your material.
> Don't forget keep "Looking to the Skies".
I do... satellites, shooting stars and all that good
stuff.

Most are in the city .... light polution too.

>Obama to release all the American UFO files to the public.

I seem to remember Jimmy Carter say this before he was
into the White House...but as soon as he got his first
secret briefings, and all ....that idea died...I doubt
Obama will do it either.
>Cheers from Peter ZS2ABF the UFO man.
