Escondio, California Multiple UFOs And Power Outage
Date: Summer 68
Time: Evening.
Location of Sighting: Escondio, CA.
Number of witnesses: 4
Number of objects: 8
Shape of objects: 7=X-shaped &1 large disk?
Full Description of event/sighting: First one 1968 and second one 1969. Early
evening, myself and 3 friends all about 18 years old were at Felicitates Park,
on the south side of Escondido. We were sitting on rocks watching clouds,
talking etc. It was still sunny, but there were some large cloud formations.
As we were observing one that looked like a upside down hanged man, there was
a huge explosion. The whole sky turned pink especially the clouds, as we were
wondering what the heck. We saw these things buzzing in and out of the clouds.
It must of been around 8:30 by then when it had finally darkened, and we
could see these little things better. There were 3 pairs of them that flew in
this perfect synchronized pattern, which was hard to believe as their flight
pattern was similar to a drawing done by 3 year old who has eaten to much
sugar, and is scribbling with a pencil. Then they would stop, dead still.
There was always one man (ship) out, that ship would fly into one of the
pairs, they would all change partners and continue their 'dance'. My thoughts
were that they looked like Spoolies (a rubber curler for women's hair in the
50's). They were X shaped. They had something that could not be seen as it
moved to fast. It could have been blades, but they were on the top and the
bottom of the X and when they moved it looked like this: X_________________X.
The movements were to fast to make out and were red. So fast all we could see
was the line of movement. We remembered this as a long happening, (possible
missing time) Sometime through this I saw a large very bright light, but twice
the size of Venus. It made a warp type move, turning colours as it
disappeared. We continued watching and sometime latter, it did the opposite
and when it came back all the lights in the area went out? One of the guys had
a glow in the dark watch, it was 9:00 pm. They (the 7) did a few more moves,
then they all went into the light and it warped out again.
The next day and for the next 2 weeks I kept track of the Escondido paper and
there was a blurb, something like "plane explodes over Mira Mar, more later.
Well it was not anywhere near Mira Mar or at least it did not look like it, it
looked more to be over S. Rancho Bernardo or Poway. This was the first of 2
sightings I had in this area. The second being a golden disk on the ground,
this sighting also was with 3 other people. One woman who was with me both
times. Again the observation was for a prolonged time.

Eston Bank, Middlesborough, North Yorkshire, England Cigar Shaped UFO
Date: 1981/1983
Time: 3:30 p.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: Cigar, cylindrical.
Weather Conditions: Good.
Description: Hi, this sighting was in the early 80's when I was 20/21 and this
is the 1st & only time I have shared this info;
The sighting was on a clear Saturday late afternoon over Eston hills,
Teesside, with a clear sky the cylindrical shaped hovered over/around the top
of Eston Bank overlooking the Tees valley moving slowly, it then darted across
towards Nunthorpe 3-4 miles away, still overlooking Teesside, after a wile it
continued to move in the same direction to what appeared to be over Yarm, a
further 10 miles away. From my vantage point which was Pinchinthorpe nr
Guisborough ( for those who know the area ) I had a perfect panoramic view of
its movements, and knowing the area well I was able to gauge its relative
distance & speed, this was clearly something unique and could cover 10 miles
in 8 seconds ish, then change direction instantly or hover. Afterwards it
veered off relatively slowly, away and up from my view point at about 30
degrees and north east until it hit clouds. That's it. I did look in the local
paper & listened on local radio at the time but found no other reports, maybe
someone can add to this sighting ?

Calera, Alabama A Boomerang Shaped UFO
Date: Around January 1985
Time: Approx: 7:30 - 8:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: Calera, Alabama.
Number of witnesses: 1
Number of objects: 1
Shape of objects: Boomerang.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was outside of our house sitting on the
hood of my car listening to a basketball game over the radio. There was some
white cumulous clouds in the night sky. I was looking up at the clouds when I
saw a large boomerang shaped, orange colored, glowing object moving across
the sky almost above where I was. It moved at a quick pace, and made no noise
at all. I saw the orange glow reflect off of the clouds as it glided across
the sky. There was no time to get anyone else to see it before it disappeared
over the trees out of view. I was astonished, I had never seen anything like
that before or since. I was reluctant even now some 20 odd years later to tell
about this. But I know I saw something unusual. I was hoping to see if
somebody saw anything like what I did. There are some similar stories I have
seen, with orange colour, and boomerang shaped objects, but others talk about
seeing lights on the objects they see, or shapes. All I saw was a glowing
solid orange boomerang.

Richmond, Virginia Unknown Object Shines Cone Of Light Downward
Date: May 24, 2008
Time: Evening.
I found this header and description at ufoinfo.com. I have been putting "May
24th, 2008 UFO" into Google for months now and this is the first time I've
come across this item. It sounds similar to something I saw that evening.
I was outside smoking a cigarette and as I always do. I scanned the sky for
SKEDS flying over head. I noticed an object moving at a fair clip at about 50
degrees elevation on an azimuth of approx. 260 degrees from my position in
Richmond, Virginia. The direction of flight was south to north. I had this
object in sight for about 11 seconds. My initial thought was a satellite,
because there were no position lights or anti-collision beacons. Any airliner.
I don't care how high on a clear night these lights are visible. I've been
pinpointing and watching space objects since Sputnik went up. Brightness was
similar to any of the three stars in Orion's belt.
After I zeroed in on the object, I saw the strangest thing, if it had been a
nearby helicopter I would describe a searchlight to you. A cone of light
appeared, it was pointed straight down from the object. Now I'm thinking
aircraft with a landing light on, no way that can't be. The light is on for a
count of three and then fades out. Instant on and then fade out, just like the
description in that sighting from Winnipeg. How big was the cone, say a 200
mile high orbit I estimate a length for the cone at 15 miles and a base
diameter of 6 or 7 miles. After the cone fades out I'm totally engrossed and
am saying to myself, WTH!! and the object then vanishes.
Now it gets even weirder, just to the south, azimuth about 195 degrees there
is a streak across the sky ! It was either a 5000 mph fast mover of some sort
or it was an instant on 1 second burst from a laser. This was no meteorite.
Trajectory was totally flat and direction was east to west. Light was white. I
mean this was a fast streak of something. The streak would not have come near
the other event based on it's direction of travel, but my single observation
point can not be totally accurate, but I'm putting my best estimations in this
description. Another point about that night... I stayed outside and observed
the sky for the next 3 hours and I didn't see a SKED at any time! I don't care
what time it is,if you look at the sky here you'll see airliners all night
long as major air traffic corridors pass over central Virginia. Was it
restricted airspace for a test? Did airline pilots see the same thing I saw?
Well I don't know what I saw, a UFO. A show off UFO or a space based particle
or laser weapon test? I am 61 years old, I was an air traffic controller in
my younger days.
