Full Description of event/sighting: My friend and his dad were working
building a chimney and fireplace. They were at the new house my friend was
having built. I'm an electrician buddy of his and was wiring the house. I was
not there that day. About 9:00 PM, my friend and his dad went out onto the
deck to answer the "call of nature" and have a beer. They were standing there
sipping their beer, when suddenly the entire sky above them filled with this
huge cigar shaped craft, with lights and windows all around it. My friend said
it just sat there quietly, making no noise what-so-ever. My friend said he
shined his flashlight up at it and immediately it shot down a return beam of
light on the deck where they stood.
He said to his dad - "wohhh - what the heck was that dad?" He said it sat
there for a few more minutes and then - blip - gone! - I said gone! The next
night when I got there he said, "well, of all nights for you not to show up,
boy did you miss it last night and told me the story. Where the incident took
place was very near where there used to be a Nuclear facility located back in
the woods in Charlestown, RI called "United Nuclear" which has since been torn
down, but that makes sense to me. I know there have been quite a few sightings
in that area over the years. I actually called my friend last year to confirm
with him, what I remembered all those years ago, and indeed it did happen,
just as I've described.

Weather Conditions: The weather was getting dark, looks like it was about to
rain.
Description: I was 11 then now 20. I cannot remember the date the incident
happened, but I do remember the image clearly and knew that it was a Saturday
as I was out with my parents that night in a night market (Pasar Malam). While
I was walking a the night market that usually crowded, I remember looking up
at the sky because it was all gloomy, dark and looked like it was about to
rain. It was there and then I saw a huge round oval like ball falling from the
sky. It was way too huge to be a burning lantern or any sort of other things
and the speed it was moving doesn't seem like a falling lantern either.
Perhaps it could be a meteor, but anyway I told my mother about it who was
walking next to me and she refused to look at the sky nor believe in what I
said.
TV/Radio: Anyway after I went home I told my siblings about it and they
laughed at the fact of it, but a few days later they said they read it in the
news that there were reports on the sighting of UFO in America or something
like that. I was truly spooked then.

Description: we where on a weeks break in Dorset and after a long journey, we
didn't feel like going out, and being such a nice night, we sat outside our
holiday home, at around 10:30pm we see two lights coming towards us, one
behind the other, the one in front was like a golden colour, the one behind
more like silver. As they got nearer, the one behind was catching the other
one up and met directly above us, then the silver one went in front, both
heading out towards Weymouth Bay, we lost sight as they went over the trees.
There was no noise at all and it is very quiet that time of night in Osminton,
there where no flashing airplane lights either, which is the first thing I
looked for.

Description: My sister, my oldest daughter, my niece and I had decided to go
for a dip in the back yard pool after celebrating my youngest daughters
graduation. I had been mentioning UFO's to them and they kind of just laughed
and thought I was nuts (which is fine) then I looked over towards
Massanutten/Allegheny mountains and noticed what looked to be a large bright
star, as I was saying WOW, look at that my sister came over and all of a
sudden this " star" skipped across the sky like a stone skips across the
water...it was going in an upward motion and skipped two or three times and
was
gone. I've seen other things throughout the years, but never anything that
gave me this weird of a feeling. Thanks for letting me tell my story.

Description: Object was approx: 1 to 2 meters in diameter surrounded by bright
white lights and hovered above the creek at approx 2 meters. It moved at a
slow pace and because of the brightness of the light and the angel being
observed it was not possible to see a clear shape. It was totally silent as it
moved and I observed the object for fifteen minutes. I and others have had a
few sightings in the Brisbane Valley over the past twenty four years.

Waltham Windmill, U.K. Sphere

Weather Conditions: Clear with the very occasional low cloud. Not enough to
obscure the stars.
Description: At around 11.30 pm, my fiancée and I were having a drink in the
garden before going bed. Our property stands alone directly behind the
windmill and is approx 100ft above sea level. (Brigsley Top). Lack of street
lights (or any other type of light pollution) along with open fields to the
rear of the property gives us the opportunity to see the night sky very
clearly. The view from our back garden is across to the villages of Tetney,
Holton Le Clay and beyond them, the Humber estuary.
At 11.30 my fiancée alerted me to a bright, orange sphere hovering above the
horizon. As we watched this orange ball or sphere moved silently, erratically
and unlike any aircraft we are familiar with.
The spheres rapid change of direction from backwards to forwards, then off
again in a completely different direction made us certain this was a UFO we
were watching. It would stop for a matter of 30 seconds before swiftly moving
onto another position, as if it mapping out the landscape perhaps. We wondered
if the exact location was directly above the Humber.
Occasionally three smaller red spheres could be seen almost dancing around the
orange light only to vanish altogether.
We watched for an hour and it continued mapping out the surface below.
I do recall a very similar sighting last year as reported in the Grimsby
Telegraph. The account given by the witness was almost identical to what we
had seen.

UFO Over Corner Brook, Newfoundland Large V Shaped UFO Hovering
Date: June 11 or 12, 2008
Time: Approx: 1:30 a.m.
At approx. 1:30 am on June 11th or 12th, 2008 I was driving home and saw a
bright formation of lights in the northern sky. Since I was driving, I was
unable to tell whether the lights were moving. My drive home was only about 5
minutes and after I parked the car I was able to see this large object
hovering over the North shore of the Bay of Islands (Summerside), just outside
of Corner Brook, NL. The night was clear, lots of stars (no moon if I recall).
The object was stationary several thousand feet up. It was "V" shaped with
lights changing from red to blue on each end of the "V". On the bottom there
were very bright white and blue lights, and at times, beams of light would
shine down from that part of the object. I did not report this officially and
was wondering if you can point me in the right direction for an official

Description: Myself (name removed) and 2 other co-workers were working at the
Devens Federal Prison located on the Fort Devens military base. One June 12th
we had a an early count because of the NBA Finals so we were locking the gates
at the Recreation Yard and we noticed one of the housing unit officers looking
straight into the sky. We then asked him what he was looking at and he pointed
to this round metallic pill shaped object in the sky. It was going straight up
for several hundred feet then stopped and moved sideways hundreds of miles an
hour systematically tumbling end over end every
hundred yards or so.

Vancouver Island, British Columbia A Brilliant Turquoise Colored Fireball
Date: June 14, 2008
Time: Between 11:30 p.m. and midnight.
I also (along with a couple of witnesses) saw the Fireball at approx.
between 11:30 and midnight Sat. the 14th of June. It appeared to be very large
and heading in a northward direction.The color was a brilliant turquoise color
with a streaming (2 or 3) part tail. I viewed it through an opening in some
trees while in a friends backyard from the mid Vancouver Island area. I have
never seen one this color or size before, it was beautiful. We were joking
about the fact it looked like it would have landed very close to us, judging
by the size, and its trajectory path. We heard no sound at all.

Full Description of event/sighting: I'd forgotten about this until tonight
when I happened to stumble across something about the great ball of fire
(1972) on reddit.com. That jolted my memory, and I started to look up info
about a blue/green ball of light I saw recently. That's how I came across your
website.
Sometime in mid-June - it could be the same time as the other sightings of a
similar nature in BC - I think it was June 12, I was out walking my dog at
11:00 p.m. For some reason, I have no idea why, because there was no noise or
bright light or anything that attracted my attention. I happened to look
directly above me. There was a fairly large blue ball of light with a green
tail and possible a bit of yellow that might have suggested heat streaking
across the sky above me, traveling south to north. It was very quiet, and
moving at a moderate pace. It wasn't ascending or descending but traveling
straight across the sky above me. It didn't seem that far away almost as it is
was fireworks, except that its trajectory of traveling directly across the sky
was more like a satellite moves, and it was very silent and constant in the
way it looked. I only caught a glimpse of it for perhaps 5-8 seconds. I
remember thinking "what the hell was that?"

Hi Brian, just tried to register, but got a page saying the module was not
active? Anyway, my question concerns the blue/green fireball sighting of 14
June, seen from California to BC. I didn't actually see it, but was outside
our local community hall in Sooke, BC, at the time, having a smoke (How many
strange sightings would be missed if it wasn't for us smokers?!) with a couple
of other people, and the lady I was talking to said 'Oh, my goodness' and told
me about what she had seen over my shoulder. Obviously the same thing.

Description: I saw a black disc shaped stationary object very high in the sky.
I would say it was at least 30,000 ft. It was nearly overhead but in a south
easterly direction from my viewpoint. I only managed to see it when the sun
was obscured behind a cloud and the black disc was then visible. It stayed
where it was as if hovering. The sun was reflecting off of it and was very
sparkly. Once the sun emerged again it was just too bright to see even with
sunglasses. I
tried to locate it again but was unsuccessful. I would be interested if anyone
else in the area saw it too.

Description: Large fireball was sighted by my aunt and nephews at 7:45pm.
Shape of object was a brilliantly lit fireball and moved in a northwestern
direction, duration of sighting approximately 1 minute. Object emitted
beautiful colors then changed shape (like a lance or sword) as it transversed
towards the NW sky. Aunt relayed the message last night to my mother and I am
reporting it as it was relayed to me. I also reported the Sept 2006 sighting
in Poza Rica, Mexico.

Full Description of event/sighting: Well I really don't know were to start.
This is the first time I have ever seen anything like this. My boyfriend works
on Airplanes at Voyager air ways, so he know a lot about planes. I was in the
kitchen doing something, when I saw one red light and one white light. They
were moving so slow and not in control on the object. It came from the right
side of the house it was not very high as their was lots of low clouds in the
sky. It was going up and down and at very weird times. It didn't leave our
sight for some time, as my boyfriend was trying to figure out what it was. I
said that is isn't making any noise and we tried to find our video camera and
get batteries for it. I just watched this thing as it was all over the back.
It would go behind a tree and then reappear again on the other side. My
boyfriend now having the camera got in the car and tried to find it as it had
moved way out in the field. I could still see the lights but they were further
away, my boyfriend called to ask me if I could still see the lights and I said
that they were way out their now.
When we hung up the phone the lights were gone. I didn't see them again until
my boyfriend pulled in the drive way. I saw them two more times as though they
were on the ground, and then nothing. I was sitting on the side of the sink so
I could see better and stayed their until 3:00am this morning. If I had to say
what shape, it was I would have to say round. The light was like nothing I or
my boyfriend have ever seen. I couldn't sleep at all as the light's didn't
leave and I was very scared.
When I looked out back today some of the trees are bent back like something
had hit them. I'm still a little scared, but I know what I saw. I have never
seen a plane that was so low as to be hidden by the trees out back, their is
nothing out their. Please tell me what you think. I'm not crazy am I. Thank

Full Description of event/sighting: This is in response to the Astorville
sighting. I was on my way to work early Wednesday morning. I was driving west
on hwy. 17 from Bonfield to North Bay, I saw what looked like lit up clouds to
the south of me which would be over towards Astorville. As I was driving I
could see bands of clouds with open sky in between them and at the end of one
of the cloud banks it was like a pure white light was on behind it and the
light washed over it into the open area. I kept on driving and watching it as
best that I could as watching for animals in the dark is always a good idea.
It persisted for about 5 minutes and then just disappeared. It wasn't the sun
coming up as it was to my south not east and the sun doesn't rise at 4:15.
Since my first sighting about 2 years ago, the bright green/blue dome light
incident I have spotted strange phenomenon's two other times not including
this. No I don't believe the young lady who saw what she saw, is crazy.

Full Description of event/sighting: I was letting the dogs out before going to
bed and a light in the sky caught my eye. The reason I noticed it was because
it was moving. It looked far away like a star but it kept blinking and
changing color and moving in an erratic motion sometimes slow and other times
fast in a small general area. I kept wanting to think it was a plane or a
helicopter or satellite or something but the way it moved was not like any of
those. Also occasional flashes would go off to the sides. I called in to the
house for my son but he was sleeping, however his friend, who happened to be
spending the night, came out to look and he saw it too. We moved around to get
a better view but it looked the same. I suppose I should note here that I was
not drinking or under the influence of any drugs. I was confused and doubting
my own eyes and (name removed) eyes, so I went in the house and woke my mother
to have her come and look and to hear what another adult would say, if maybe
she could explain it away. She saw it too and was dumbfounded. She also
mentioned the blinking and changing color without my having described it too
her, and the strange motion was unlike any craft we could think of. After
about a half hour of watching it (and getting bit by mosquitoes) I went back
in the house and looked on the internet to see if anyone else was seeing this.
That was when I found this site. Anyway I suppose about 15 minutes later I
went out to see if it was still there and it was gone. Any ideas?

Full Description of event/sighting: We were out on the front porch and looking
toward the Northeast part of the sky and we witnessed a ball of fire falling
from the sky. It looked like a flare from a flare gun but was humongous and
bits started falling off of the sphere like liquid fire to the sides. It left
an odd trail of smoke behind it, not a stream but more like an odd spiral. It
has not been reported by any news or i can not find anything online

Kirkby In Ashfield/Nottinghamshire, England Spherical UFO

Time: Approx: 11.15-11.30 p.m.

Weather Conditions: Mostly a clear night at this time, with a very small
amount of cloud.
Description: My mum and I were heading home by car from a concert in Sherwood
Forest on Friday evening, heading towards junction 27 of the M1 on the stretch
of road from West Notts Technical College in Kirkby in Ashfield in
Nottinghamshire.
As passenger I was looking out of the left side window to the south towards
Ravenshead and noticed how amazing the full moon (or as near as dammit full
moon) looked, it was quite low on the horizon and quite yellowy looking, I'm
guessing with the sun only having just gone down a couple of hours previously.
Also visible near the moon if I remember rightly was what I believe to be
either the pole star or possibly Venus it was brighter and considerably larger
than any other star I could see.
Now the exciting bit. A minute or two down the road, where there are no road
lights or housing, and very little light pollution, I noticed a huge
illuminated spherical object over woodland towards the south just a little
lower than the moon and the pole star on the horizon.
This thing was massive, I would say around a quarter of the size of the moon
in the night sky. It didn't appear to move at all and just hung there in the
sky maybe about 3 or 4 miles to the south I would suggest somewhere over
towards the Ravenshead area of Nottinghamshire. My mum managed to catch sight
of it also. The strange thing was how the object went out of sight, it
gradually dimmed over a period of a few seconds almost as if somebody had used
a dimmer switch on it. To the right of the object within a half mile
distance, there was a static red flashing light which I'm guessing was the
avionics lights on a helicopter.
As we continued to drive along trees and bushes along the roadside obscured
the view to the south, and we didn't really see anything else, other than I
noticed a streak of light coming out of the 11'o clock position of the moon a
little further down the road in between a gap in the bushes/trees which looked
a bit curious.
Having arrived back at my mums house in Brinsley a few miles to the west of
J27 of the M1 maybe about 10 minutes later, I went to let her dogs out on the
back and see if I could see anything else exciting happening as it was such a
clear night. There is no light pollution to the back of where my mum lives as
its fields and woodland, and there is very little noise pollution at that time
of night other than the odd vehicle passing on the front.
Within a minute of having been outside I noticed yet another glowing ball of
light (similar size again I would suggest) this time moving directly overhead
in a west to east direction near the constellation of the plough. We see a lot
of commercial airline traffic above her house, and I would suggest it was at a
similar height to commercial airliners (say 30,000 feet), but this thing was
moving in a west to east direction and not in a south to north direction which
we usually see over the house, and made no sound, before, during or after it
passed over, and normally you can hear the sound of commercial jets passing
over very clearly. This thing was far bigger than any aeroplane at that
height, like I say it was about a quarter of the size of the moon in the sky.
It did however move at around the same speed as an aeroplane. Once again
within a few seconds of having sighted the object, just like the previous one
we'd witnessed, it gradually dimmed out again in the clear night sky, there
were next to no clouds, and no flashing avionics lights on the object.

Shape of objects: Round from distance, more defined closer up.
Full Description of event/sighting: Walking up Richmond Drive towards
Woodborough road, at approx 12.40am, looked up through the trees and saw a
red/orange/yellow pulsing rugby ball shape in the sky moving slowly and
silently - hard to judge distances as it was dark, passed virtually overhead.
Watched it for approx: 30 seconds as it went slowly overhead then moved behind
trees and obscured from view. Weird.
