us a better world coverage.
It seems that not many Hams are "looking to the skies' as no sightings from
hams have been recieved this month.
Keep looking and report. No hams have joined in and started a "UFO FORUM on

Butler, Butler County, Pennsylvania A Large Bright Light
Date: Mid 1960's (Late Winter or Early Spring)
Time: Evening.
Number of witnesses: 1

Shape of objects: Large Bright Light.
Weather Conditions: Clear, with no wind to speak of.
Description: One evening in late winter or early spring of the mid 1960s my
husband and I were traveling on Brown Ave in Butler, Pennsylvania when I
noticed a very bright light to my right. At first I thought the light was
moving and perhaps it was at that time. I was concerned that it might be a
large commercial or military plane in trouble because the light was so bright
and so low. However, as we continued up Brown Ave the light seemed to stop
moving and became stationary. My husband's mother lived near the bottom end of
Brown and we decided to stop and visit her.
I did mention the light to my husband but he apparently didn't pay attention
to what I said. When we got out of the car my husband took our young daughter
into the house while I stood on the front porch and watched the light. I stood
there for quite some time, long enough for my husband to remove our daughter's
coat, hat, gloves etc. Finally I decided that I had been confused and that the
light had only seemed to move because of the movement of our car. So I decided
to go into the house, which I did. I remained in the house long enough say
hello to my husband's family but I eventually went back onto the porch. Just
when I decided that I was crazy to stand out in the cold watching this light,
it seemed to jerk, much like the start of an engine on an older car or
tractor.
Suddenly the light got brighter and took off with such awesome speed that it
was almost like it disappeared.I should mention that there was no sound even
though I was close enough that I would have heard any sound if there was
any-and I know about acoustic shadow. During the entire time I watched the
object from the porch it appeared to "perch" on the bare tree limb of tree on
a house across the street. At arms length my thumb would probably cover the
light source. However it was brighter when I saw it from the car window going
up the hill. At that time probably the light source would appear about the
size of the bottom of a tin can. I never saw an actual object, just the light.
While it was standing still I think the light was probably hovering over Armco
Steel Mill and/ or Pullman Standard which manufactured railroad cars.
TV/Radio: The Butler Eagle-Butler's newspaper-ran an article on the sighting
the next day. Apparently quite a few people saw the light However, as usual
the light was described as an airplane practicing stalls, a hot air balloon
and other asinine descriptions. I had served in the military a couple of years
before this event and was quite familiar with some aircraft. This was nothing
conventional. Speed alone ruled that out.I've carried this event in my mind
for many years and I'm glad to finally get it down on paper.

Description: I was just out for a walk and as I was walking just past
Knackington near, Cantebury and toward were I worked I noticed this very big
like sun shaped object I did not ever see anything like this before ok I was
17 years old at the time I ran towards it yet as I got to a field,it went down
towards my work place so I walked on the main road then to the side road
leading to my work I walked up the road yet saw nothing so I went back to the
main road
and started to walk down the road towards town that's when I saw the object
again high off in the distance.so I just went back home yet in the morning
Sunday paper a women had reported that she was just coming up the hill were
she lived in Canterbury and was startled to see a very big sun like object
over her house so I rang around then rang the women and told her what I saw
the woman saw it about 10.30pm I saw it at about 10pm it was explained away by
some one that it was a weather balloon yet I new it was not that as it moved
to fast I have seen other unexplained objects since then also at night it
looked like a very bright satellite it shone then just disappeared from view
that was about 7 weeks ago

Mexico City, Mexico A Large Bright Flying Saucer

Weather Conditions: Good, clear.
Description: Approximately Dec. 21, 1980 my sons Jason (age 7) and Michael age
10) and I (36 yrs old at that time) looked up to the sky and saw a large,
bright, flying saucer flying over the top of a large high rise building in
Mexico City, Mexico. We were heading home to our hotel while on a Christmas
vacation.
My husband was well ahead of us and although we screamed to the top of our
lungs and jumped up and down to get his attention, he did not believe us and
never turned around to see it. The "saucer" was very bright white, had many
windows all the way around it, was very silent and came from behind the
building, hovered over us and the building and then proceeded to go very
quickly back up and disappear.
We were more excited than frightened, but it was also rather alarming because
we had never seen a flying object move like that in terms of silence and
speed. It was very bright and made of a solid material. The windows did have
light in them, but we did not see any objects or living creatures inside the

Shape of objects: Two circles connected like the master card symbol.
Full Description of event/sighting: I looked out second story window, just
kind of looking at the night sky when out of the corner of my eye an object
caught my attention. It basically just flew by in about 5 or 6 seconds. In
that time I noticed the shape, the color, the size, and the fact that it
didn't make any noise. Not a single sound! The shape was like the master card
symbol from being below it. It had a flat matte metallic rust color. Like
silver/rust. There were no lights, no sound and I could tell that light didn't
reflect easily. It flew fast and graceful, smooth and wasn't high in the sky
like most people would think. It was huge for something that made no noise and
flew so smoothly. With in that 5 or 6 seconds I laughed and smiled to myself
because I knew.

Ladysmith, British Columbia A Giant Black Rotating Saucer Hovering
Date: June 1998 ?
Time: Approx: 9:00 p.m.
I chanced to look out the window. At that moment, I was scared to the point
where my entire body locked up, due to the fact that a giant black rotating
saucer was hovering about one and a half kilometers away, and about the same
distance from the ground (maybe less). It was nighttime, so the neighborhood
lights obscured much of the detail of the underside of the craft, but I could
tell from the jerky blurriness of the sides' lights that it was spinning. A
few seconds after this, the craft disappeared in a flash of light that only
encompassed the area of where the craft had been spinning in the air. A line
of light lasted a few moments and appeared to indicate the direction that the
craft flew away to.
This occurred in Ladysmith, BC, sometime during the month of June. It was
about 9:00pm, and there were no cars driving around. The area that the UFO
would have been directly above was an uninhabited provincial forested park
that was also mountainous. The most striking detail about the craft was that
it was darker than the night sky, despite having small bright lights on its
side and underbelly. The entire event lasted about 5 seconds, yet it left a
lasting impression on my memory. To this day, I can slow down the sequence of
events in my mind and draw inferences from what I witnessed. I never came
forward for fear of retribution, claims of insanity or attention seeking, but
now I am simply curious if anyone else saw what I saw that night in June in
1998. I read about a sighting in Prince George, BC that describes almost the
exact same craft, except it takes place in 1969.

Georgetown, Ontario (Eaton Park) Kite Shaped UFO Shot Out Of Sight

Full Description of event/sighting: I am a grade 11 student at Christ the
King Secondary School in Georgetown Ontario. My mom and my brother were just
sitting down and watching TV while I was in summer school. My mom took a quick
peek out the window towards Eaton Park. She saw something in the sky that
didn't look like an ordinary kite. It was just hovering there for a good
minute. My mom called my brother over to the window. They both looked at it
for a while until it tilted horizontally. (it started out vertically flat) And
then it just shot out of sight. It was an unexplainable event. The only
explanation we have is that it was an Unidentified Flying Object.

South Of Ottawa Ontario 3 Unusual Lights In A Linear Order
Date: February 8, 2008
Time: Approx: 9:30 - 10:00 p.m.
Location of Sighting: South of Ottawa Ontario, Highway 416 about 4 km before
401 on ramp.

Shape of objects: Spherical linear array of lights irregular patterns.
Full Description of event/sighting: I apologize, as it has been months since I
have chosen to further research any other sightings of our strange experience.
I'm not certain anymore, exactly how many weeks following the 2008 new years
this occurred although I know it was a Friday. My girlfriend and I were late
leaving Ottawa on our way to see family in Martintown. In order to make up for
lost time we chose to get their via 416. We had been driving for only about
half an hour to 45 minutes when we were approaching the split that directs you
onto the 401 heading east. Our conversation was abruptly interrupted when we
both witnessed something very abnormal in the sky. Before either of us had the
chance comment we observed 3 brighter than usual lights appear in linear order
to the east of the highway.
They than disappeared as they appeared (1 light on, second, than third and
vise-versa). Within seconds of the third light disappearing, the 3 lights
reappeared to the western side of the highway (much further west than east to
the highway). The lights reappeared in a different pattern consisting of
second, third, then first and quickly disappeared in yet a different pattern
third, first, then second never to be seen by us again. That was our
experience. We are young adults although we grew up in that very area and are
well aware of aircraft lights and all land based structures containing lights
and their patterns. As skeptics ourselves we thought logically and attempted
to rationalize the sighting, although everything we were able to rule out. I
will never forget it, and we could not have been the only ones to witness it.
I am very curious. Either we witnessed something remarkable or we saw one
hell of a plane.

Lafayette, Indiana Lights Jets Another Eye Witness To UFO Event

Time: 10:30 p.m.
Hello, I typed in "Kokomo Indiana UFO" into Google and came across a
description of a UFO that I also saw. I believe it was April 16, at 10:30 p.m.
one day before the recent earthquake in Indiana and the surrounding area.
I am a recent graduate of Purdue University and I live in Lafayette, Indiana.
What I saw took place at about 10:30 p.m. I was standing on my balcony having
a cigarette and about ready to go back inside. However, I noticed a light in
the Eastern sky. I assumed it was an airplane that was about to land at the
Purdue Airport. I decided to watch the "airplane" fly over me before I went
inside. But, instead, I saw this:
The appearance of the light was similar to an orange or yellow street light
and it was bright enough that I assumed that the "airplane" was due to fly
over me within a matter of minutes. But as I waited, the light did not move.
So I waited longer. Then, it disappeared for a brief moment and then
reappeared as five or seven similar lights forming a circle. As I watched, the
lights formed the shape of a line. The line was again about five or seven
lights and it was horizontal.
Then from that line, another line of lights seemed to project from the
horizontal line toward a vertical position. During this time, the entire array
of lights seemed to move slightly North. The way the second line projected
from the first was similar to the way a movie click board opens. Then, those
lines seemed to move independent of each other and began moving around each
other, either still as lines or independently. Finally, after witnessing this,
which I would say took place for about 15 seconds, I ran inside to get my
roommate to see it, but when we returned it was gone.
The sky that night was very clear and the moon was out. I also saw a few
planes or jets flying all around the sky right after this event and they left
many contrails. It has been something that has stayed in my mind ever since I
saw it, so I decided to see if anything was on the internet about it. I ran
into two other kids a week later who said they also saw it. They told me that
many people in Kokomo saw this, therefore I assume that what I saw in
Lafayette was the same object that was seen in Kokomo. I hope this helps you
in anyway.

Weather Conditions: Clear Summer sky, no clouds.
Description: We (Myself, my wife and my 7 year old daughter) had just came
from Mumbai on the same day to this village for a religious trip. Thrilled to
see clear sky with so many stars which we never see in the city. Was just
looking at the stars when suddenly 2 objects which we first thought are stars
started moving. Within 5-10 minutes from the top of the sky they were on the
horizon.
They were moving in perfect synchronization while keeping always the same
equal distance between them. We are sure they were not planes or birds as
there is no air corridor above this area.

Buckhead Atlanta, Georgia Object Shoots Upward At High Rate Of Speed

Full Description of event/sighting: May 5th 4:00 a.m. Atlanta,Ga. I frequently
star gaze on my back terrace which is on the top floor (20th) story of a condo
building in north Atlanta (Buckhead) Ga. I began looking at stars and planets
around 2 years ago. Anyhow, after gazing for a couple of hours, I noticed to
my right, due west, a very bright round object about 10-15 degrees above the
horizon. The position this object was at in the sky absolutely eliminates any
chance that it was a star, planet, or any other heavenly object. A friend of
mine was behind me looking through one of my telescopes at planets and stars
as well.
When I noticed this object, I remember saying to myself, "What is that, it
can't be a star or planet because of where it's positioned. The round object
was stationary and seemed to be swirling in different colors; very bright. I
picked up my binoculars to my right and looked at the object closer. As I
looked at it again, it began to move slowly to my left about 5 degrees and
then very quickly shot upward around 5 degrees and stopped. The movement it
made upward did not seem possible for any craft that I'm aware of and the
G-force must have been unreal. Upon shooting upward, it then shot quickly to
my right and stopped. At this point I called for my buddy who was behind me to
hurry and look at this.
The object slowly started moving to my left again as my friend turned around.
At the moment my friend made eye contact with the object, it seemed to shoot
upwardly and vanished; almost vanishing in place but I recall a slight
upwardness to it's vanishing trick. I asked my friend if he saw that and he
said, " what was that? I saw a bright round object completely vanish before my
eyes". In my 2 years of star gazing, I've never seen a "UFO" or anything
close. I remembered afterwards that the direction I was looking in during this
sighting was smack right over Dobbins Airforce Base in Marietta, GA. About 15
miles away from me. I can see a couple of their runways and watch planes land
with the naked eye but better with binoculars. It seemed this object had to
have been within their airspace.
After my experience, I went online to search any other sightings with my
description and their seem to be a lot. The one that stands out the most is a
documented report of two airforce pilots and their superior in Iraq. The
pilots ended up chasing these object to no avail. The date of this incident
took place the day after I was born, September 18th 1976. Anyhow, I thought
that was interesting.

Auckland, New Zealand An Oval UFO With Lights

Shape of objects: It was surrounded by glimmering lights, perhaps an oval
shape but we couldn't really tell.
Weather Conditions: Clear sky at night, stars shining, crisp air.
Description: My mother stood outside at the balcony for a smoke that night,
and I was in the lounge watching TV (on the second floor in the house). She
then called me out to see what she thought was an airplane- only, it was
completely static and not moving.
I got out and saw an oval-like object with lights all around it. It was high
up in the sky over the ocean, not moving. It just 'stood' there. That was
weird. It was not a plane or aircraft because it had many lights all around
it, and it was not moving. The lights were not those aircraft lights that
flicker on and off. I then had to go back inside and when I came out again
(about 10 minutes later), it was gone, there was no sign of it anywhere in the
sky.

St Albans, England A Circular Bright Yellowish Light
Date: May 10, 2008
Time: 9:35 p.m.
Number of witnesses: Two
Number of objects: 5
Shape of objects: Circular bright yellowish light with surrounding larger dark
area after lights extinguished.
Weather Conditions: Fine, clear.
Description: 5 objects appeared in the SE sky close to the horizon traveling
in a roughly westerly direction at fairly high speed (visibly at least the
speed and altitude of an aircraft when landing in our area). Each displayed a
very bright yellowish light, not pulsating and no visible navigation lights.
One by one the objects appeared to veer off towards the south, each light
disappeared and a dark shape could be seen in the sky surrounding the point
where the light had been (rather like the shape of a parachute or balloon) but
still moving at high speed so definitely not such an object. The last object
could be tracked with binoculars after its light disappeared, still traveling
westwards in the evening sky. I cannot relate what I saw to anything that I
have seen previously. My wife joined me and confirmed the above unusual
sighting.

Description: While talking to my brother on my mobile phone in the back garden
I noticed a strange object in the sky, hovering just below the cloud line. The
object moved slowly in large circling movements for about two minutes, my
partner then came out into the garden and saw the object too, then it shot
across the sky. Then started hovering and circling again for about three
minutes. Finally it shot vertically straight into the sky and disappeared. The
object appeared to be a disk shape with a very bright amber light in the
centre.

Between Saskatoon And Dundurn, Saskatchewan 12 Orange Orbs
Date: May 11, 2008

Location of Sighting: Between Saskatoon and Dundurn.

Shape of objects: Orb like, disappearing and reappearing.
Full Description of event/sighting: Driving along grid roads about 3:00 am.
Orange orbs begin appearing in sky, 3 or 4 present at time, when one
disappears another would appear went on for about 15 to 20 minutes. I called a
friend living near Clavet and my friend could see same lights in sky, he was
over 15 kms away.
Seemed to be fairly high in sky but not that far south of where I was. Lights
seemed to disappear until I could see one hopping low above fields a few miles
to the south.
Lost sight of it. when I went down in that direction about a mile or two
later. There was all kinds of dust that was blowing around from the grid like
a wind storm had just gone through minutes before.
I did not see anything else that night. I realize I was quite close to the
army base but they were not flares, they held there presence in the sky for
minutes at a time without movement, and the second one disappeared another
would appear. the most we remember seeing in the sky at one time was probably
10 to 12.
