a letter from a gentleman who was kind enough to take the time and write up
and submit the report are "treasures" and a look back in time. Without these
wonderful people who come forward with valuable information, we as Ufologists
can't bring these truly wonderful stories to the general Radio Hams on Packet.
I really do encourage folks who were maybe stationed at the different military
bases around RSA, USA, Canada or bases around the world to write to me with
this important information. Please always note, that I respect everyone's

Some Of The Things We Saw Were Literally Out Of This World(Ed;from the letter)
I am retired military, U.S.Navy. My first duty station after apprentice
training was at Naval Station, Adak Island, Alaska. I was assigned to the fire
department as a fireman. I was not to keen on the idea of riding on the back
step of a fire truck or fighting fires, so being a reasonably intelligent
person and one of the few in the department that completed high school and
could read and write, I got the job of department dispatcher. It was a nice
desk job, I worked 7-4, 5 days a week and when all the other guys were out
training I hung out in the dispatch office with one of the civilian fire
chiefs.
There were 5 of them, 4 at the fire station and one was assigned as the crash
crew chief at the airfield.
What was so unusual about these fellows was they were in their 50's and all
near the end of their careers, and prior to coming out to the island, they had
worked at the fire/crash department at Edwards/Muroc Air Force Base!
This was in the early 70's so most of their early career (late 40's, 50's and
60's) was at Edwards/Muroc during the period when all the experimental testing
was going on there. I became really close with the fire chief Ed and an
assistant chief Ron.
They knew all the Mercury astronauts plus anybody else that went through
there. They recovered Edwards's body the guy the base was named after. Yeager,
Armstrong they knew them all.
In the book/movie "The Right Stuff", there is a scene where Yeager bails out
of the plane when he lost control and he comes walking out of the desert
carrying his chute. A pick up truck comes driving up to retrieve him. Well, in
real life they were those guys and they seriously thought they were looking
for a body!
It was many years after they told me that story that I saw it re-enacted on
the big screen and realized that I had heard this story before. I'm like an
idiot standing up in the theatre pointing at the screen saying, "Hey I know
those guys!"
Well of course in the many hours of them telling me stories of their
adventures at Edwards on the crash crew, watching Buzz Aldrin learn to control
the prototype of the Lunar Lander and seeing the various other experimental
planes, I remember once asking Ed and Ron if they had ever witnessed anything
"weird". Ron looked at Ed and after a moment he quietly said, "some of the
things we saw were literally out of this world."
I didn't think much about it at the time and even later on thought they were
talking of the SR-71, which landed once at Adak while I was there, or the U-2,
you know exotic conventional planes. But, since reading about Cooper's
encounter at Edwards with the saucer landing there and the possible visit of
"Ike" at Edwards with "ET visitors" and some of the other statements coming
out from people who also were at Edwards when there were encounters with
"craft". I now know what they were talking about. And I believe them to be
true.
(Editor: Well how about that story, So they have been and said, "Take me to
your leader"! I have always thought they must have visited our most advanced
nation/s and made a "Pact" with them and given us some "Stealth Technology")

Near Delaware River, Northeast Philadelphia Massive UFO With Red Lights
Date: December 24, 2001
Time: 11:30 p.m.
Location of Sighting: near Delaware River, Northeast Philadelphia.

Shape of objects: Rectangular.
Full Description of event/sighting: First saw a bright white light, which I
thought, was a helicopter. Went to my window, and noticed it wasn't coming
from helicopter, just straight down from something at low altitude. No lights
seen at that time, but then when this object moved I saw the apparent tail-end
of the object, bright red lights. It changed course and moved toward New
Jersey. I saw these red lights outlining a massive object. By massive I don't
mean airliner size, I mean aircraft carriers size. I'm using the plural, not
the singular. It was a dark night, meaning there were no planes flying, no
choppers flying, because it was Christmas Eve. It headed east after changing
course from the northeast.
The area I live in is called Northeast Philadelphia. The craft changed course
due east just at the part where Northeast Philadelphia ends. The height of
this object would be 2-3 times that of the diameter of a full moon. It moved
slowly. The length was massive. There it was, just these bright red lights,
rectangular, obviously from some type of craft. Just moving slowly, much
slower than an airplane, like, here we are, just cruising by, not bothering
anybody, just observing.

Naval Air Station Oceania, Virginia Beach, Virginia A Round Sphere Above The
Trees
Sir, I was just surfing the net and saw this piece of news. I was stationed in
NAS Oceania from 2002 to 2005. I can't remember the month now that I saw this
round sphere just above the trees. But what occurred was, I went to the
backside of the hangar of VFA-37 where I was attached at the time. I was
talking to one of my squadron mates. I know that late afternoon there were no
flights and everything was quite in the surrounding area. As I look up on the
direction of the sky. There just above the trees, a round sphere object
appeared out of the cloudless sky as if its force field or invisible shield
was suddenly off.
Because this guy and me was talking out there for a while. When I saw it, I
looked and told my squadron mate, Hey! Did you see that? And for sure when he
looked up it was gone. And I told him what a just saw, but I guess he never
believe me. And when I told people of my experience, they thought it was a
joke or something. You know, fighter jets all around, radars, etc. and yet
right there, on base. On a patch of trees in-between the flight line, a round
sphere just above the tree. If they asked me where I saw it I'll tell them
exactly. There might still be residues emitted by the object after two and
half years since my retirement. If know one believes me, I don't care, because
I saw what I saw. And I hardly believe things until I see it myself.

Orleans, Ontario A Black Triangle UFO

Time: Between 5:00 - 6:00 p.m.

Shape of objects: Black Triangle.
Full Description of event/sighting: Between 5:00 and 6:00pm the sky was clear
with no clouds. My wife, my two kids and I were exiting the building and going
to the vehicle when I looked up and noticed a bunch of crows flying from North
to South. The crows were flying around 80 to 100 feet high. The whole family
looked up. I then noticed a black triangular object flying at least 1 mile
high moving very fast, no noise from North to South. We all saw it and
wondering what it was. However as it was moving so fast I didn't even have
time to power on my camcorder. The object disappears into the horizon. I know
how a stealth bomber looks like and how it sounds once it has passed. This
object didn't make any sound whatsoever.
We decided not to say anything of what we saw, knowing how people react to
such sightings. Nevertheless, we now do believe that there is existence of
UFO's.
We now travel with fast powerful digital cameras everywhere we go, hoping to
encounter again such objects.

Florida Panhandle Object That Changed Shape

Full Description of event/sighting: I have been reporting my sighting since it
happened on January 27, 2008. I am beginning to feel depressed because it's
taking over my mind and thoughts. It was in broad daylight when I saw it and
saw it change forms; it showed me what things it can do. I have to pass this
information on so I can be at peace. I feel as though for some reason they
chose me to carry this information onto someone. It came to me while I sat
happily and peacefully in my own back yard. I have found a picture of it, that
I have book marked. Thank god for that picture.

Apalachicola, Florida Unusual UFO Sighting

Full Description of event/sighting: I was sitting in the back yard with my 90
year old mother, my 9 month old grandson, and my cousin. I was saying, " it's
such a beautiful day, not a cloud in the sky, the sky is so pretty and blue
and what the hell is that". I didn't have to look to the left or right it was
right over my head moving slow to the west. It looked like an anvil just
floating through the air. I locked my eyes on it and the next thing I knew it
was this capsule looking thing that looked old and rustic. Looking at it I got
a feeling that this thing has been coming to earth for a very long time.
Still having my eyes locked on it, that's when I saw a big metallic "flash",
that old rust bucket looking thing has changed into a dumbbell shaped metallic
thing inside a square box, but the box was blending in with the blue sky. The
dumbbell shape changed into a bowtie shape, but with the middle longer and a
little bit thicker, then along came the seagulls. Before the seagulls, there
was only one sound that I heard and that was I saying, "look, look, look, see,
see, and see, ohh, oh, oh. Until now did I notice that seagulls have an
illuminated glow when flying in the sunlight? This thing took on the
illuminated glow of the seagulls; yes it went from metallic to a white glow
just as the seagulls have. It was trying to camouflage itself in the seagulls.
Then it changed again into the old rustic shape thing again as it floated off
to the west, with more seagulls that were flying against it coming from the
west.

Whitby, Ontario A Very Bright White Pulsating Light

Full Description of event/sighting: Very bright white pulsating light, not
moving anywhere. Upon both me and my boss noticing the object it 'blipped' out
instantly and was gone. Defiantly not a helicopter or airplane.

South Of Dulles International Airport In Virginia Lights Lined Up In A Row
Date: March 2, 2008
Time: Evening.
Location: 20 miles south of Dulles International Airport in Virginia.
Number of objects: 6-8
Shape: Round orange-white lights
These lights were lined up in a row flying West NW. There was a plane flying
toward the lights leaving the airports that had to see this object or objects
in its path. By the time I ran inside to get my cell phone for a video the
lights were gone. They were very large lights probably flying at around
20,000 - 30,000 feet. There objects made no strange moves but the speed was
much faster than an airplane. They were in and out of sight within seconds
and you can usually see the lights of a approaching or landing airplane for a
minute or so in night sky.

St. Louis, Missouri Red Lights Stretched Out Across The Sky

Shape of objects: Red lights.
Full Description of event/sighting: Went outside when I heard a huge waterfall
like roar. My girlfriend and I saw about 6 red, plus lights moving in a
perfect line spaced perfectly apart in unison. They were stretched out about
1/2 to a mile long. About 15 minutes later fighter jets flew over. In no way
were the red lights planes because they did not look, sound, nor act like
planes.

South Of Rolla, Missouri Orange Lights
Date: March 2, 2008
Time: Just before 8:00 p.m.
I live a couple of miles south of Rolla Missouri. On March 2, just before
8:00pm, I also saw the orange lights in question. I called my brother (who
lives next door) and he and his wife both came out and watched the lights with
me for about ten minutes and they stopped appearing shortly after 8:00pm. The
lights appeared in a SE-SSE direction, which correlates with the sighting near
Salem.
Each light would glow for about four seconds at a time, then disappear for a
few minutes, before lighting up in a different location. The exception seemed
to be the 'double light' which looked like two of the lights in close
proximity - the distance between the two did not seem to change and they lit
up at exactly the same time and the pair always lit up in the same location.
There may have been as many as six objects, but we only saw a maximum of three
at once.
I have also seen these lights in the same area a couple of times last fall,
once with my brother. At first, I thought it was the burner of a hot-air
balloon, but I couldn't imagine anyone flying one at night. Sunday night was
the first time I have seen more than one light at a time. It was very windy,
with a storm front moving in, and I knew nobody would be flying balloons in
that kind of weather. This was my third sighting of these lights, and by far
the most extensive. My brother has seen them with me twice now, and his wife
reported seeing them by herself before.

Sudbury, Ontario Unknown Craft With Oval Shaped Object Hanging Below It

Time: 10:00 p.m.
Who do I get hold of as I am watching the things in the sky. Is there somebody
you can call right away to confirm what you are seeing, example last night
(March 4, 2008 10:00 pm) I was looking out my window when I noticed what I
thought was just a plane. I could only see the lights, no shapes until it got
closer. You could see an oval object hanging down from it. It was travelling
from the east going west when suddenly a jet coming from the west and went
over top of it. It suddenly turned and started going east also. As I live in
an apartment block my view was obstructed, so I could not see what happened.
However, I am a very avid sky watcher and this is not the first time I have
seen strange sightings. With one sighting I tried to call the police. They
just said no other calls came in about anything. So I would appreciate it if
you could give me a phone number to call as it is happening so others could
verify what I am seeing. I live in Sudbury Ontario. Sincerely.
Additional Information:
Sorry it took me a couple of days to learn how to scan this thing. Just got a
new computer and still learning all the little details. The artwork is not the
best but this is approximately what I saw. It was dark outside so I could not
see the shape of the top vessel or even if there was one. It was just like a
big globe of light but bright enough to show what looked like a cord holding a
large oval about twenty-five feet below the light. The plane or jet was coming
from the opposite direction though it was really high up turned and went in
the same direction.
This is the first time I had ever seen a jet do that, which really spiked my
interest. I had thought maybe the army was transporting some piece of
machinery but I've never seen a helicopter or plane that was a large orb of
light nor one that the light reflected down. It is good to talk to someone who
listens where this is concerned because as I stated in my last letter I am
really an avid sky watcher and though it doesn't happen all that often I do
see things out of the ordinary. The one before this was June 2005 (that was
the one I called the police) was just a large very bright ball of light that
grew really bright and seemed to explode but then in the exact same spot the
ball grew again exploded again then once more the last one it did not come
back. That a few other people saw one I found out later but in different
places at different times. Thank you for believing in me and I hope we can
stay in touch if there are more.

Full Description of event/sighting: It was a perfectly clear night (quite
unusual for my area) and almost dark. I was talking on the phone and just
looking at the night sky and I saw a super bright star. It was so bright that
I though maybe it was a satellite, plus it was stationary. I was talking for
about 10 minutes and instantly the light changed to bright red and rapidly
flew north. I ran outside to see where it was going, but it flew so fast that
it was out of my sight in an instant

Shape of objects: It was a stationary, bright star-like object.
Full Description of event/sighting: When I first noticed this object I just
thought it was a star at first. Once again I was just looking out my back
patio window. Then I looked in the western sky and I saw a bright star-like
object. Like I said, I just thought it was a star, it was bright though and
looked to low to be a star and then twenty minutes later I looked at it again
and it was moving slowly over Prairie Meadows. This object was stationary for
about twenty minutes. It was at a height at about 700 feet and was heading
north very slowly. It appeared to be fairly large and it was to the west of my
house. The weather tonight is clear and cold. The object was behind some
trees, but was bright enough to still see. I watched it for about five minutes
until I couldn't see it any longer.

Shape of objects: Blinking and stagnant lights, but on closer look, they
appeared triangular perhaps.
Full Description of event/sighting: On the 5th I was driving with my dad, when
I looked to the west and there are four or five yellowish white lights
hovering low in the skyline, clustered together. They didn't appear to be
moving, but then one at a time about 30 seconds after each other, they would
move, usually vertically into the sky and start to blink strangely, very
unlike the behaviour of an airplane or helicopter. We could not hear them at
all; they did not go in one straight path like an airplane but moved
sporadically. We drove into a parking lot and saw more of the same kind of
behaviour for about thirty minutes. We would see a few a yellowish lights just
above the trees, stagnant and then it would start moving up ward, and then
proceed to move about the western part of the sky oddly. At one point there
was eight or ten in the sky at once, all in the western part of the sky. None
of them crossed the sky like a plane does. I saw one fall straight down
extremely fast, appearing almost like a meteor. My dad thinks they must have
been near Dulles airport, but we are both absolutely certain these could not
have been airplanes, or even helicopters.
On the 6th, after explaining to my friend earlier in the day about my
experiences, I continued to see suspicious blinking and hovering lights
throughout the night. But around 10:15 we went out on his driveway to smoke a
cigarette. And immediately upon looking at the sky we could already see
strange blinking lights at different heights in the sky. This time it appeared
they were directly above Woodbridge. A few seemed to cross directly above us.
The yellow lights would again hover at a distance above the treetops, and then
rise, start blinking white, red and blue lights and then move at a very fast
speed, all without making any noise at all. One did cross above us
particularly low in the sky. When it was above us it appeared to look like a
triangle with a light in each corner, but we could not see the outline of the
plane. Again, we felt odd that it didn't make any noise at all. We saw about
ten of these, all throughout the sky, and on the drive home we saw one low in
the sky, with many more lights then the others. It had white lights all lined
up on its side on one single craft. We took some pictures.

Dartmouth, Nova Scotia A Bell Shaped Object
Date: March 6, 2008
Time: 5:20 a.m.
Location of Sighting: Dartmouth, Nova Scotia.

Shape of objects: Streak plus another object.
Full Description of event/sighting: I dropped my partner off at the Halifax
airport and was heading back home to Dartmouth. I was observing the sky as the
sun was beginning to rise. I was surprised by a streak of green, almost white
light across the sky, just south of the city. I thought it was a falling star
at first, but the line was perfectly straight, as if drawn by a ruler. It was
a very crisp, laser-like line and at the end of this line was an object that
was shaped like a bell. It seemed as if this bell shaped object shot across
the sky, stopped and then disappeared, all in about 5 seconds. I spent the
rest of the drive home trying to rationalize what I had just seen.

Shape of objects: Round very bright light.
Full Description of event/sighting: I was on my way home from work on Thursday
evening and I noticed a very bright ball of light in the western sky, slightly
offset from the Sun's position. It had a strange rainbow glow around it and at
first and I thought it was just a reflection, but it was very bright and
intense. Almost as bright as the Sun. I pulled off to the side of the road to
try and get a picture with my cell phone camera, but the resolution on the
phone is junk. I watched it for at least 10 minutes hanging in the sky getting
brighter and then dimming. By the time I reached home (20 minutes tops) it was
gone
